As he gives CPR to the child, fellow officers arrive to take his statement. In a split second decision he tells them a lie about the accident, which will change all their lives in this edge of your seat thriller.

Chris Pine wrote the screenplay with pals Will Greenberg, Drew Howerton, Robert Baker, Ian Gotler, and Tony Liebetrau. It is not known if any of them will also appear in the film.

Mantivities comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Chris Pine.

The story is based on Gillian Flynn's New York Times bestselling novel and follows Libby Day, a woman who, at seven-years old, survived the brutal massacre of her family and testified against her brother as the murderer. Twenty-five years later, the Kill Club, a secret-society obsessed with solving notorious crimes, bring her to question and confront the truth of what took place that day.

Gilles Paquet-Brenner is directing and writing with Stéphane Marsil and Peter Safran producing through Hugo Productions.

The story will pick right back up where the last film left off, shortly after Ceaser and his army overtake the Golden Gate Bridge. As the apes grow stronger in their intelligence, humankind is threatened to the point of extinction by a new virus, which causes a social structure collapse. By the end of the film, the apes will rise as the world's new rulers.

Andy Serkis is set to reprise his role as Caesar, ruler of the Apes, in the Untitled Rise of the Planet of the Apes Sequel. Original director Rupert Wyatt is returning as well.

Scott Z. Burns will be working off a first draft penned by Rise of the Planet of the Apes writers Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa.

Untitled Rise of the Planet of the Apes Sequel comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Andy Serkis. The film is directed by Rupert Wyatt.

VFX production has already begun on the CG 3-D film with principal photography set to begin this Summer. Brian Presley is producing alongside Jib Polhemus of The Graphic Film Company, with Simon West directing.

Thunder Run is an all CG 3-D action thriller based on the non-fiction book "Thunder Run - The Armored Strike to Capture Baghdad," by Pulitzer Prize-winning correspondent David Zucchino. Adapting the story for the screen are Academy Award-winner Robert Port and Ken Nolan, screenwriter of Black Hawk Down.

Thunder Run is the untold story of the dangerous and bloody capture of Baghdad by American Forces at the onset of the Iraq War. In April 2003, three battalions and fewer than a thousand men launched a violent thrust of tanks and Bradley Fighting Vehicles into the heart of a city of five million, igniting a three-day blitzkrieg, which military professionals often refer to as a lightning strike, or "thunder run." In telling the story of the surprise assault on Baghdad--one of the most decisive battles in recent American combat history--this movie paints the harrowing picture of the soldiers on the front lines and the realities of modern warfare.

Thunder Run comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Gerard Butler, Sam Worthington, Matthew McConaughey, Brian Presley, Omid Abtahi, Waleed Zuaiter, Reem Mahmood, Iyad Hajjaj. The film is directed by Simon West.

Bruce Willis returns as John McClane in the sequel, which takes the iconic action character to Russia, where he will fight his latest villains. The story begins with John McClane traveling to Moscow to convince some cops into letting his wayward son out of jail for something he did, but when he gets there, things surrounding his son's arrest are not as they appear and world-threatening terrorist hijinks ensue.

Amaury Nolasco is playing a friend of McClane early in the film. Details on Megalyn Echikunwoke's character are being held under wraps.

Production is currently taking place in Europe.

A Good Day to Die Hard comes to theaters February 14th, 2013 and stars Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney, Sebastian Koch, Yuliya Snigir, Amaury Nolasco. The film is directed by John Moore.

The film is an adaptation of adventurer Jack Black's 1926 autobiographical novel and follows his experiences in the hobo underworld as he freight-hops around the Western U.S. and Canada.

Hannah Marks co-stars as a young prostitute who forms an unusual friendship with young Jack Black (Michael Pitt), while Louisa Krause will portray Irish Annie, a street-smart prostitute who may be the closest thing he has to a love interest.

The actress is best know for her memorable appearance in Young Adult as a Hotel worker alongside Charlize Theron.

Production for the film has already begun in Seattle.

The story is described as Die Hard set in the White House, centering on a paramilitary takeover of the Presidential residence. We reported back in March that Sony bought the script by James Vanderbilt (The Amazing Spider-Man) for $3 million, the largest spec script sale this year. It isn't clear yet what character Channing Tatum will play, if a deal is finalized.

Harald Kloser, Laeta Kalogridis, and Brad Fischer are producing alongside Roland Emmerich and James Vanderbilt. Magic Mike screenwriter Reid Carolin, Channing Tatum's producing partner, will executive produce.

In the movie, Ms. Fey is portraying Portia Nathan, an admissions officer at Princeton University. Evaluating thousands of hopeful college students, the exceedingly bright and driven woman lives her life by the book, both at work and in her relationship with a faculty colleague, Mark (Mr. Sheen). Visiting an experimental New Hampshire high school submitting applicants, Portia is caught off guard when its co-founder John Halsey (Mr. Rudd) turns out to have attended college with her. She is then floored when reminded of the life-altering decision that she made while still a student herself; she had a son, who she gave up for adoption, and who she now realizes may be one of John's students, the precocious misfit Jeremiah. At Cannes, FilmNation Entertainment is also handling international sales on The Bling Ring from director Sofia Coppola. In addition, FilmNation has two in-competition titles: Lawless from director John Hillcoat starring Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy; and Jeff Nichols' Mud which is also produced by FilmNation's Aaron Ryder, starring Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon.

On a dark night, Will (Luke Wilson) is invited to his estranged ex-wife's dinner party. Over the course of the evening, he is gripped by mounting evidence that something insidious has taken hold of his ex-wife, and that she and her new friends have a mysterious and horrifying agenda. By the end of the night, the ramifications of what happens in this house will spread far beyond its doors.

Currently, XYZ has the hit action film The Raid: Redemption in theaters via Sony Pictures Classics. The company has also completed production on Frankenstein's Army which just completed shooting in Prague.

The Invitation comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Luke Wilson. The film is directed by Karyn Kusama.

Bragi F. Schut wrote the original screenplay over a decade ago, which expands on a small portion of Bram Stoker's original Dracula novel. The Demeter was the ship that transported the vampire from Transylvania to London, except the ship washes up on shore with only one survivor left. This story tells the tale of that voyage, where one passenger murdered the ship's crew, one by one.

David Slade was the last filmmaker attached to the project, which had Noomi Rapace and Ben Kingsley attached to star. It isn't known if the actors are still involved, but it doesn't seem likely.

Mike Medavoy, Arnold Messer, and Brad Fischer will produce, although no production schedule was given.

The Last Voyage of Demeter comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Noomi Rapace, Ben Kingsley. The film is directed by Neil Marshall.

Claflin will play Bryan McNeil in The Quiet Ones, a supernatural thriller/horror to be directed by John Pogue (Quarantine 2: Terminal) which James Gay-Rees (Senna, Exit Through the Gift Shop) will produce in association with TPSC Films. With the story and original screenplay by Tom de Ville, revisions by Craig Rosenberg, Oren Moverman and most recently John Pogue, the film is currently in pre-production and will start shooting in June 2012 in the UK.

Inspired by true events, The Quiet Ones tells the story of an unorthodox, but charismatic Professor (Harris) who uses controversial methods and leads his best students off the grid to take part in a dangerous experiment: to create a poltergeist from negative human energy.

Exclusive Media's President of Worldwide Production & Acquisitions, Tobin Armbrust, is overseeing production alongside Director of Development, Shira Rockowitz. TPSC Film's President, Steven Chester Prince, is a producer on the project for the newly formed independent film division of The Traveling Picture Show Company.

Alex Walton, Exclusive Media's President of International Sales and Distribution, will be selling international rights to the film at the upcoming Marché Du Film in Cannes.

The Quiet Ones marks Hammer's next production after the worldwide box office hit, The Woman in Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe, which has taken over $130 million at the box-office worldwide to date.

The story centers on a man who eventually meets the girl of his dreams (Rachel McAdams) through his ability to travel back into time. Zooey Deschanel was previously cast as the dream girl role. No reason was given for her departure.

Domhnall Gleeson is playing the male lead, with Bill Nighy, Tom Hollander, Margot Elise Robbie, Lydia Wilson and Vanessa Kirby set to co-star.

Richard Curtis will direct from his own original screenplay. Production is scheduled to start next month in London.

The film centers on a doctor with psychic abilities, who hunts down a serial killer. No production start date has been set. Peter Morgan is currently revising the script, with Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson producing.

This project will mark the director's English-language debut, after gaining fanfare from his Brazilian hit 2 Coelhos (a.k.a. Two Rabbits), which he starred in, directed, wrote and produced.

Douglas will play Billy Gerson, a lifelong bachelor, who has finally decided to take the plunge.

Good Universe, which launches its global sales operation in Cannes this month led by principal Joe Drake, is handling international sales. The ensemble comedy is being produced by Laurence Mark (Julie & Julia, Dreamgirls) and Amy Baer. Good Universe's Nathan Kahane and Nicole Brown will executive produce. Matthew F. Leonetti Jr. will co-produce.

Executive Vice President of Production Maria Faillace and Creative Executive Alex Ginno are overseeing the project for CBS Films.

The story centers on a father's unconditional love for his daughter, which is put to the test after a widespread zombie epidemic. Chloe Moretz is negotiating to play the daughter, while Paddy Considine has entered discussions to portray the loving father.

John Scott 3 is writing the screenplay, with Pierre-Ange Le Pogam producing. The project is budgeted at $10 million, with production to begin in September.

At just 15 years of age, Chloe Moretz has already played a vampire in Let Me In, and stars in this weekend's vampire tale Dark Shadows. If a deal is finalized, the young actress will have completed the genre trifecta at an incredibly young age.

The film will be produced by Andrew Lazar of Mad Chance (Confessions of a Dangerous Mind) and David Greenblatt (Battle: Los Angeles) with Shane Black (upcoming Iron Man 3) attached to executive produce.

Crushed by her recent divorce, Mary Kay Curly (Diaz) cannot catch a break. Desperate to protect the two most important things in her life, her kids and her real estate agent job, Mary Kay agrees to take on an unpleasant task for her boss that accidentally gets her kidnapped and tossed into the center of a Mexican drug war. Armed with little more than her maternal instincts and a streak of pure dumb luck, Mary Kay must overcome incredible odds and outsmart the FBI, various underground crime lords and an international terrorist organization- in time to make it home for dinner. The all-star film is set to start shooting in September 2012.

Rick Yorn and CAA brokered the production and financing deal. Exclusive Media's Tobin Armbrust, President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions and Matt Jackson, Executive Vice President and Head of US Production, will be shepherding the production on behalf of the company.

The drama centers sports agent J.B. Bernstein, who discovered professional pitchers Rinku Singh and Dinesh Patel through a reality show he staged in India with cricket players. In India he wound up hatching the reality show Million Dollar Arm and auditioning 40,000 hopefuls. He brought back the two 19-year old finalists to the U.S., but it wasn't as simple as signing with a ball club and heading to the minor leagues. Neither player had ever traveled beyond their rural village and the agent had to teach them about American culture and speaking English as he did the rules of baseball. The two imports became the first Indian players to sign pro baseball teams when they got contracts with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Tom McCarhty wrote the script with Mark Ciardi, Gordon Gray, Palak Patel and Joe Roth producing.

Production on the project is expected to begin this fall.

The film is a romantic comedy centered on three different couples with one thing in common: infidelity. Their stories connect over a long weekend in New York and Paris.

The film is an adaptation of the Jordan Belfort memoir that follows the multimillionaire stockbroker through the dramatic rise and fall on Wall Street.

Leonardo DiCaprio plays the stockbroker, who experiences a dramatic rise on Wall Street, and gets lost in the drugs and other excess of a hard partying lifestyle that comes hand in hand with all that money. His downfall is precipitous, and he spent 22 months in jail before straightening out his life.

The actor will play FBI agent Coleman, who built the case against Jordan Belfort and took him down with Jonah Hill playing Jordan Belfort's close friend and business partner who's persuaded by Jordan Belfort to quit his job in the furniture business to jump into volatile world of stocks.

The script was adapted by Boardwalk Empire creator Terence Winter with Red Granite Pictures' Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland producing.

The Wolf of Wall Street is in development and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill. The film is directed by Martin Scorsese.

Lionsgate will produce this romp about Joel and Molly, two big city individuals who fall in hate at first sight. He is a big time corporate manager who threatens to tear down her small knick-knack shop. Taking a page directly from You've Got Mail, the two begin an off-again, on-again romance that brings in all the classic staples of the rom-com genre.

Michael Showalter co-wrote the script with David Wain shortly after the duo finished work on Wet Hot American Summer. It was set to go into production around that time, but was shelved by Universal Pictures. Interest in the story arose again back in January, when Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler performed the screenplay live at the San Francisco Sketchfest.

An actual set start date has not been announced, but the film will likely be ready for a 2013 release date, unless, like its script, it too gets shelved once it's completed.

They Came Together comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler. The film is directed by David Wain.

Set in the lower echelons of 1860s Paris, Thérèse Raquin (Elizabeth Olsen), a sexually repressed and beautiful young woman, is trapped in a loveless marriage to her sickly cousin, Camille (Tom Felton), by her domineering aunt, Madame Raquin (two-time Oscar, SAG, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Jessica Lange). Therese spends her days confined behind the counter of a small shop and her evenings watching Madame play dominos with an eclectic group. After she meets her husband's alluring friend, Laurent (Oscar Isaac), she embarks on an illicit affair that leads to tragic consequences.

Rounding out the cast of Therese are Shirley Henderson, John Kavanagh, Mackenzie Crook, and Matt Lucas.

Directed and written by Charlie Stratton, Therese is produced by Mickey Liddell, CEO of LD Entertainment, and William Horberg of Wonderful Films. Michael Zelman and Richard Sharkey serve as the film's executive producers. LD Entertainment will also distribute the film.

Therese comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Felton, Jessica Lange, Oscar Isaac, Matt Lucas, Shirley Henderson, Mackenzie Crook. The film is directed by Charlie Stratton.

Plot details are minimal, but it is rumored that Iron Man will head to China to face his toughest opponent, Mandarin. The actress will play a scientist who plays a pivotal role in the creation of a nanotechnology, known as Extremis, that winds up being sold to terrorists.

Production on the film starts this month in North Carolina before heading to China.

Iron Man 3 comes to theaters May 3rd, 2013 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Ben Kingsley, Jessica Chastain, James Badge Dale. The film is directed by Shane Black.

The actress most recently took part in Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol and is currently working on 2 Guns with Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington.

Production for the project will begin this September.

The film is an adaptation of a Joyce Maynard novel and follows Frank Chambers (Josh Brolin), an escaped convict who seeks shelter with a depressed single mom (Kate Winslet) and her teen son over Labor Day weekend.

Jason Reitman is directing, writing, and producing with Helen Estabrook from his Right of Way Films. Lianne Halfon and Russell Smith are producing for Mr. Mudd.

Labor Day comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Josh Brolin, Kate Winslet, Tom Lipinski. The film is directed by Jason Reitman.

The original Starbuck centers on a middle-aged man who has fathered 533 children through sperm donations. Given the nickname Starbuck, he struggles to decide if he wants to meet a couple hundred of his children, who have come forward in seeking him out.

Original co-writer and director Ken Scott will remake his own film for American audiences. There isn't a set start date for Starbuck at this time.

Starbuck comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Vince Vaughn. The film is directed by Ken Scott.

The Michael Diliberti penned script follows a young San Fernando couple who sell a fake snuff film to make some quick cash. Years later, the woman who supposedly "died" on film must return to her hometown to save her younger sister from trouble. Complications thus ensue.

Cali comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Kristen Stewart.

Wayfare Entertainment is producing and financing the film, with shooting scheduled to take place in Alaska. Villain follows two brothers as they confront their dark past in an unforgiving wilderness. Filmmakers are currently casting for the two lead roles.

The actor will portray Detective Benny Griessel, an aging, alcoholic detective in Cape Town, South Africa who tries to sober up while facing the most important, and dangerous, case of his career. Devil's Peak is the first book in the series, which includes subsequent novels 13 Hours and 7 Days.

Malcolm Kohll, Michael S. Murphey, and Ofir Kedar are producing, with Hersch Klaff, Robbie Little, and Robert Fig executive producing.

The producers are eyeing a September production start in Cape Town, even though no screenwriter or director has been attached yet.

The project is based on Kevin Wilson's best-selling book, which follows two performance artist parents, who would always force their children to participate in these bizarre events. When their grown children return with crises of their own, the parents suck them into pulling off one final and daring act, even though the kids blame these performances for how badly their lives turned out.

The project marks a reunion for Nicole Kidman and David Lindsay-Abaire. The actress was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in Rabbit Hole, which the writer adapted from his own Pulitzer Prize-winning play. Nicole Kidman is producing alongside Per Saari, Leslie Urdang, and Dean Vanech. No production schedule was given.

The Family Fang comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Nicole Kidman.

The directors will adapt the 1975 novel by Edward Abbey, which centers on four men who battle against the development of their beloved desert in the American Southwest. While they attempt to sabotage construction sites, they vow never to harm another human being, animal, plant, or rock. Here's what the directors had to say about this project.

We reported way back in 2007 that Catherine Hardwicke was attached to direct, but she is no longer involved. Edward R. Pressman is producing alongside Gary Burden, with Alessandro Camon executive producing. No production schedule was revealed.

The story centers on Angelina Jolie's title character, and puts a new spin on her relationship with Princess Aurora (Elle Fanning), a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty. Imelda Staunton and Lesley Manville are playing Knotgrass and Flittle, two of the pixies who care for Aurora. Miranda Richardson is portraying Queen Ulla, Maleficent's aunt who does like her evil niece. Sam Riley plays Diaval, Maleficent's trusted right hand, who transforms between a raven and a human. Kenneth Cranham is playing the human king, who tries to conquer the fairy kingdom.

Robert Stromberg is directing from a screenplay by Linda Woolverton. It isn't known when production will begin, although Disney has already issued a March 14, 2014 release date.

Maleficent comes to theaters March 14th, 2014 and stars Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Kenneth Cranham, Sam Riley, Lesley Manville.

Schwarzenegger, who is currently filming The Tomb, will appear in The Expendables 2, being released in August, and stars in The Last Stand, which will be released in January 2013.

The project re-teams Open Road Films and filmmaker David Ayer, whose latest film, End of Watch, will be released by Open Road on September 28, 2012.

The original screenplay for Ten is by Skip Woods (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, A Good Day to Die Hard). David Ayer is helming the film. Bill Block, Paul Hanson, Joe Roth, Palak Patel and Albert S. Ruddy will serve as producers. Alex Ott of Ayer's Crave Films is executive producer.

In Ten, an elite DEA task force deals with the world's deadliest drug cartels. Specializing in complex mobile operations, the team executes a tactical raid on a cartel safe house. What looks to be a typical raid turns out to be an elaborate theft operation, pre-planned by the DEA squad. After hiding millions in stolen cash, the team believes their secret is safe - until someone begins assassinating them one by one.

"I am really excited about this project and the team that's come together," said Schwarzenegger. "David Ayer is incredibly talented and exactly what I want for a story this compelling."

David Ayer's writing credits include 2001 hit film Training Day, which earned an Academy Award for Denzel Washington, as well as scripts for The Fast and the Furious, S.W.A.T. and U-571. He also wrote and directed Street Kings and Harsh Times. Ayer most recently directed End of Watch, which stars Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña as young Los Angeles police officers as they patrol the city's meanest streets of south central Los Angeles. Giving the story a gripping, first-person immediacy, the action unfolds through footage from the handheld HD cameras of the police officers, gang members, surveillance cameras, and citizens caught in the line of fire to create a riveting portrait of the city's most dangerous corners, the cops who risk their lives there every day, and the price they and their families are forced to pay.

The deal was negotiated on behalf of Open Road Films by Ortenberg, General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Operations and Business Affairs, Elliott Kleinberg, and Senior Vice President of Acquisitions, Ben Cotner. Bill Block, along with Paul Hanson and Christopher J. Corabi, negotiated the deal on behalf of QED International. Patrick Knapp at Bloom Hergott Diemer Rosenthal negotiated on behalf of Schwarzenegger, along with Creative Artists Agency who negotiated on behalf of both Schwarzenegger and Ayer.

Ten comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film is directed by David Ayer.

Jonathan Tropper will adapt the screenplay himself. The story follows Silver, a man in midlife crisis whose ex-wife is marrying someone too nice to hate, and whose daughter is pregnant and on her way to Princeton. Silver tries to pull his broken family together only to discover that he could die at any moment because of his refusal to have an operation that could save his life.

Jonathan Tropper also has another book, titled This is Where I Leave You, set up at Warner Bros. with Adam Shankman directing, again from Tropper's own script. He is also the creator of the upcoming Cinemax series Banshee (which has nothing to do with the Marvel Mutant of the same name).

There is no production start date set for One Last Thing Before I Go, but the search for a director is underway. The book hits stores and online outlets this August.

One Last Thing Before I Go comes to theaters in 2014.

We reported back in January that Simon Beaufoy signed on to adapt the Suzanne Collins novel. Last month, Francis Lawrence was hired to replace director Gary Ross, and now it seems a new script is being commissioned.

If Michael Arndt's deal is finalized, he will likely need to move very fast, since the sequel is prepping for a late summer production start. The studio is trying to finish production before Jennifer Lawrence is summoned to start shooting the X-Men: First Class Sequel in January.

Catching Fire comes to theaters November 22nd, 2013 and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones. The film is directed by Francis Lawrence.

This period drama centers on a claim-jumper (Tommy Lee Jones) and a pioneer woman who both escort three insane women on a bizarre journey from Nebraska to Iowa, where they must brave the harsh elements along the way.

The multi-hyphenate will produce alongside Michael Fitzgerald and his Ithaca Films banner. The producers are in talks with Luc Besson's EuropaCorp to co-produce, finance, and distribute the drama.

Both Michael Fitzgerald and EuropaCorp produced Tommy Lee Jones' first feature directorial effort, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada. He also directed the HBO movie The Sunset Limited last year.

No production schedule was released. The actor will next be seen in the long-awaited sequel Men in Black III, which hits theaters May 25.

The project is a biopic centering on Jackie Robinson (Chadwick Boseman), who became the first African-American to play major league baseball when he signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947. John C. McGinley will portray Red Barber, the famous radio broadcaster for the Dodgers. Harrison Ford, Christopher Meloni, Jon Bernthal, Ryan Merriman, Brad Beyer, and T.R. Knight also star.

Brian Helgeland is directing from his own screenplay. Jackie Robinson's widow, Rachel Robinson was also involved in the development process, to ensure the story was accurate.

Production is scheduled to begin later this month, with shooting to take place in Chattanooga, Tennesse, and Atlanta. It is said John C. McGinley will be pulling double duty, shooting this film and a role on the USA Network series Burn Notice at the same time.

42 comes to theaters April 12th, 2013 and stars Chadwick Boseman, Harrison Ford, Christopher Meloni, Jon Bernthal, Ryan Merriman, Brad Beyer, T.R. Knight, John C. McGinley. The film is directed by Brian Helgeland.

The project is based on the true story of "Lightning" Lee Murray, a former UFC fighter who was the mastermind behind a 2006 robbery in Britain, the largest cash heist in history. Kerry Williamson (I, Alex Cross) wrote the screenplay, which is based on the Howard Sounes book Heist: The True Story Of The World's Biggest Cash Robbery and the Sports Illustrated article "Breaking the Bank" by L. Jon Wertheim.

XYZ Films, the company behind The Raid: Redemption, will produce alongside Gareth Evans. No production schedule was given.

Breaking the Bank comes to theaters in 2013. The film is directed by Gareth Evans.

The drama is based on the autobiography of Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio), who made millions as a fraudulent stock broker operating out of Long Island. He spent 20 months in prison for his role in a massive securities fraud that involved widespread Wall Street corruption.

Jonah Hill will play Danny Porush, Jordan Belfort's best friend who convinced him to quit his menial job as a furniture salesman, and become a stock broker. The true story also served as the inspiration for the 2000 financial drama Boiler Room.

Martin Scorsese is directing from an adapted screenplay by Boardwalk Empire creator Terence Winter. Production is scheduled to begin this August in New York City.

The Wolf of Wall Street is in development and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill. The film is directed by Martin Scorsese.

The actress will portray Madame Desdemona, a leather-clad mistress whose harlots have information for Machete (Danny Trejo). She joins a growing cast which also includes Mel Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, and Demián Bichir.

Robert Rodriguez is directing from his own original screenplay. Production is scheduled to begin very soon in Austin, Texas.

Machete Kills comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Danny Trejo, Mel Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, Demián Bichir, Sofía Vergara. The film is directed by Robert Rodriguez.

Reinhard Klooss, Yoni Brenner and Jessica Postigo adapted the script from Edgar Rice Burroughs' original story, while giving it a modern-day twist.

In the update, Tarzan's parents are killed in an airplane crash rather than being stranded with their child. Jane is the daughter of an African guide and is committed to the conservation and preservation of the African jungle. The film's bad guy is the CEO of Greystoke Energies, a man who took over the company from Tarzan's deceased parents. Tarzan and Jane eventually work together to defeat the mercenary army of Greystoke Energies.

Reinhard Klooss and Holger Tappe are directing with Robert Kulzer producing.

Tarzan comes to theaters in 2013. The film is directed by Craig Brewer.

Guy Pearce is playing a man pursuing a group of car thieves through the wild and rugged Australian Outback. Robert Pattinson will play one of the criminals that stole his car.

David Michôd wrote the script from an original idea by Joel Edgerton (Animal Kingdom). David Linde is producing with Liz Watts.

Guy Pearce most recently starred in Ridley Scott's Prometheus. We reported yesterday that Robert Pattinson joined Mission: Blacklist.

We first reported on this project back in June, when Damon Lindelof signed a seven-figure deal to write the screenplay. No plot details have been revealed, except it will be a big-budget tentpole with additional multi-platform applications. Damon Lindelof is co-writing the screenplay with Jeff Jensen.

Disney is hoping that Brad Bird will make this his next feature, with the studio eyeing a 2013 production start. The filmmaker also has 1906 in development at Pixar, although it isn't known when that might be moving forward.
