Noah Baumbach is directing from his own original screenplay, with Scott Rudin and Eli Bush producing. Production is scheduled to begin sometime this fall.

Amanda Seyfried most recently starred in The Big Wedding, and she voices a role in the animated feature Epic, which opens this weekend. She is currently shooting A Million Ways to Die in the West, directed by Seth MacFarlane.

While We're Young is in development and stars Ben Stiller, Adam Driver, Naomi Watts, Amanda Seyfried. The film is directed by Noah Baumbach.

Kyle Pennekamp and Scott Turpel, who wrote the upcoming CBS Films comedy Get a Job, have been hired to write the screenplay adaptation, with Ben Karlin and Kevin Misher producing. No production schedule was given. It isn't immediately clear if the comedians and actors who appear in the book will come along for the feature adaptation as well.

Aside from his work on Modern Family, Ben Karlin produced 50/50 and co-wrote and produced the upcoming comedy A.C.O.D..

Jon Stewart wrote the screenplay, which was adapted from Maziar Bahari's 2011 book Then They Came For Me: A Family's Story of Love, Captivity and Survival. The book recounts the author/journalist's time in Iran, where he was supposed to go for one week to cover the country's national elections. Instead, he was held in an Iranian prison for 118 days, tortured and interrogated by a mysterious man who the writer described as smelling of rosewater. Gael García Bernal will play the reporter, who left his pregnant fiancee behind in London for what he thought was a routine assigment.

Scott Rudin is producing with Gigi Pritzker, whose OddLot Entertainment company is financing the adaptation. Production is scheduled to begin later this summer.

Gael García Bernal most recently starred in Pablo Larraín's No, and will next be seen in

Dallas Buyers Club later this year.

Rosewater comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Gael García Bernal. The film is directed by Jon Stewart.

The project is based on the Rebecca Serle novel When You Were Mine, which was published last year by Simon Pulse. The story is a revisionist take on William Shakespeare's classic romance Romeo & Juliet, told from the perspective of Rosaline, Juliet's cousin and Romeo's first love, whom he dumped after meeting Juliet.

Rosaline previously had Allison Williams, Emilia Clarke, and Dave Franco set to play Rosaline, Juliet, when the project was at Fox 2000. However, no deals that were set up at Fox 2000 will be inherited in the Universal deal, meaning the studio will start casting from scratch.

Michael Sucsy (The Vow) is attached to direct from an adapted screenplay by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber ((500) Days of Summer), with Shawn Levy producing. No production schedule was given.

Rosaline is in development and stars Lily Collins, Deborah Ann Woll, Dave Franco, Allison Williams. The film is directed by Michael Sucsy.

The story centers on a small town nurse (Rosamund Pike) who goes on a blind date with a mysterious man (Shiloh Fernandez), and suffers a life-altering event shortly thereafter. Nick Nolte is playing the nurse's father.

Patricia Beauchamp and Joe Gossett wrote the screenplay, with Holly Wiersma and Candice Abela producing and Logan Levy executive producing. Shooting is currently under way in New Orleans.

Nick Nolte most recently starred in Gangster Squad, Parker, and The Company You Keep. Evil Dead star Shiloh Fernandez has the upcoming thriller The East debuting in theaters next week. Rosamund Pike last starred in Jack Reacher and will be seen later this summer in the comedy The World's End.

We first reported on this drama last May, when John Carney (Once) was attached to direct. He has since had to back out, due to scheduling conflicts.

The story is an adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's 1952 novella "The Price of Salt," which follows the relationship between two women in 1950s New York. One is a young department store clerk (Mia Wasikowska) who dreams of a better life, and the other is a woman (Cate Blanchett) trapped in a loveless marriage. Playwright Phyllis Nagy wrote the screenplay adaptation.

Elizabeth Karlsen and Stephen Woolley are producing alongside Christine Vachon. No production schedule was given.

Carol comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Cate Blanchett, Mia Wasikowska. The film is directed by John Crowley.

Ari Graynor stars as Meredith Davis, a foul-mouthed divorcee who becomes a teacher in a quest to find her next husband. The plot diverts slightly from the 2011 movie Bad Teacher, where Cameron Diaz played a teacher who was ready to leave her job and marry a rich man, until he dumps her.

David Alan Grier, Kristin Davis, Sara Gilbert, and Ryan Hansen co-star in the series.

Hilary Winston (Community, Happy Endings) wrote the pilot script and will executive produce alongside Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg, who wrote the Bad Teacher movie screenplay. Sam Hansen, Jimmy Miller, and Sara Rodier also serve as executive producers.

Bad Teacher was released June 24th, 2011 and stars Cameron Diaz, Lucy Punch, Jason Segel, Justin Timberlake, Phyllis Smith, John Michael Higgins, Dave Allen, Jillian Armenante. The film is directed by Jake Kasdan.

Radius-TWC acquired Man of Tai Chi, which serves as the actor's directorial debut. The story, set in modern-day Beijing, follows a young martial artist (Tiger Hu Chen) who finds himself in the middle of a lucrative underground fight scene, where he must compromise his own morals to get out alive. Keanu Reeves co-stars alongside The Raid: Redemption's Iko Uwais and Jeremy Marinas. Here's what Keanu Reeves had to say about his first directorial effort landing at Radius-TWC.

The Weinstein Company picked up Passengers, starring Keanu Reeves and Reese Witherspoon, before production begins. The studio plans on a wide release sometime in 2014.

Jon Spaihts (Prometheus) wrote the screenplay, which centers on spacecraft on a century-long journey to a distant planet. When one of the passengers' (Keanu Reeves) sleeping pod malfunctions, he awakens 90 years before everyone else on board, leading him to wake up a woman (Reese Witherspoon).

Brian Kirk, best known for his work on HBO programs Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones, is directing Passengers, although it is not known when production will begin.

Man of Tai Chi comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Keanu Reeves, Iko Uwais, Jeremy Marinas, Tiger Hu Chen. The film is directed by Keanu Reeves.

This project will mark the first time that author/screenwriter Dennis Lehane is adapting another writer's work, although he has written episodes of The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, and Castle. Leonardo DiCaprio starred in Shutter Island, an adaptation of Dennis Lehane's novel. They are currently collaborating on his latest adaptation Live by Night, which Ben Affleck is directing.

Travis McGee has been in development since 2001, and Fox wants to make a potential franchise out of John D. MacDonald's 21 Travis McGee novels. Paul Greengrass, Gary Fleder, and Oliver Stone had previously been attached to direct at various times, although the project currently does not have a director. Leonardo DiCaprio is also producing alongside Peter Chernin and Amy Robinson.

Travis McGee is in development and stars Leonardo DiCaprio.

Directing is Shira Piven (Fully Loaded), from a screenplay by Eliot Laurence. The dramatic comedy is produced by Aaron L. Gilbert and Marina Grasic with Margot Hand as co-producer on behalf of BRON Studios. For Gary Sanchez Productions, Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Jessica Elbaum are producers, with Robyn Wholey as executive producer. Kristen Wiig is also a producer. Welcome to Me will begin production in California this summer.

Welcome to Me tells the story of Alice (Wiig) who suffers from dissociative personality disorder and wins the lottery only to decide to spend her money on a cable access talk show about herself. The show reflects her larger-than-life personality and absolute obsession with wanting to be famous, even if it means alienating her friends and family in the process.

John Travolta stars as Gambino family crime boss John Gotti, with Kelly Preston portraying the teflon don's wife, Victoria Gotti. The story follows Gotti and his son, who wants to leave the family business to start fresh on his own.

Leo Rossi and Lem Dobbs wrote the screenplay, based on an original idea by John Gotti Jr.. Marc Fiore, Ted Field, Thomas Devlin and Michael Froch are producing. Shooting is scheduled to begin in New York this September.

Anthony Hopkins will next be seen in Red 2, Thor: The Dark World, and in Noah.

Gotti comes to theaters in 2014 and stars John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Anthony Hopkins. The film is directed by Joe Johnston.

Writer-director-star Zach Braff announced that Kate Hudson will play the female lead in Wish I Was Here. Take a look at the photo that includes a concept illustration for Kate Hudson's character Sarah, the wife of Zach Braff's Bloom, along with his full update from his Kickstarter page, which includes the cast he has assembled so far.

The story centers on Zach Braff's Aidan Bloom, a struggling actor who can't quite provide for his family. When his father (Mandy Patinkin) becomes ill, he reluctantly agrees to home-school his father's young children, which forces him to learn a lot about himself in the process. We'll keep you posted as soon as more casting updates are announced.

Wish I Was Here is in development and stars Zach Braff, Mandy Patinkin, Josh Gad, Anna Kendrick, Jim Parsons, Donald Faison, Kate Hudson. The film is directed by Zach Braff.

The project is based on the novel Firing Point by Don Keith and George Wallace, which follows a new submarine captain who must work with a Navy SEAL unit to rescue the Russian president, and stop a rogue Russian general from starting World War III.

Jamie Moss (Street Kings), Arne Schmidt (The Express), and John Kolvenbach wrote the adapted screenplay, with Neal H. Moritz and Toby Jaffe producing. No production schedule was given.

We reported back in 2010 that Warner Bros. had acquired a screenplay for the remake, written by Brian Tucker (Broken City). The writer is still on board the project, but it is not known if Warner Bros. is still involved or not.

The original Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance followed a deaf-mute who gets robbed when trying to come up with money for his sister's operation. This new English-language version centers on two grief-stricken men, both of whom have suffered recent losses in their life, who are hell-bent on getting revenge.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are producing, with Claudia Bluemhuber, Bill Johnson, Jim Seibel, Jacob Pechenik and Gero Bauknecht executive producing. No production schedule was given.

Oldboy, another movie in Chan-wook Park's Vengeance Trilogy, has been remade by director Spike Lee. Josh Brolin, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen, and Sharlto Copley star in FilmDistrict's thriller, hitting theaters October 11.

Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance was released August 19th, 2005 and stars Kang-ho Song, Ha-kyun Shin, Doona Bae, Ji-Eun Lim, Bo-bae Han, Se-dong Kim, Dae-yeon Lee, Ju-bong Gi. The film is directed by Chan-wook Park.

Vitti won an Emmy Award for his work as writer-consulting producer on King of the Hill. He was also a writer for Saturday Night Live, writer-producer on The Simpsons, writer-co-executive producer on The Larry Sanders Show, and writer-consulting producer on The Office, among many other programs. Jon also shared a writing credit on the feature films The Simpsons Movie and Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Catherine Winder is another addition to the team working on the Angry Birds movie, joining as a producer. Winder was formerly the president of Rainmaker Entertainment in Vancouver, and also oversaw set-up, production and development at Lucasfilm Animation and served as Senior VP of Production at Twentieth Century Fox Animation where she re-structured Blue Sky Studios and oversaw the production of the original Ice Age.

Angry Birds is one of the world's biggest entertainment franchises, starting in 2009 with the original mobile game that remains the number one paid app of all time. Angry Birds has expanded rapidly into entertainment, publishing, and licensing to become a beloved international brand.

The upcoming movie marks Rovio's first foray into feature films, although fans have already been introduced to the Angry Birds world with the weekly Angry Birds Toons animated series. Rovio launched the series in March through its Angry Birds apps, as well as on select video-on-demand channel providers, Smart TVs, connected devices, and on select TV networks around the world. Paving the way for a full-length feature film, Angry Birds Toons has been a massive success for Rovio clocking in over 150 million views from the Angry Birds apps alone within the first six weeks.

Angry Birds comes to theaters July 1st, 2016.

The addition marks the first Chinese actor to join the project with numerous more to follow. She will soon be joined by other famous actors as well as a number of newcomers being recruited from a scouting competition.

Transformers 4 comes to theaters June 27th, 2014 and stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

The miners spent 69 days trapped underground, while workers on the surface worked around-the-clock the rescue them. Antonio Banderas will be portraying Mario Sepulveda, the charismatic miner also known as Super Mario. Martin Sheen and Rodrigo Santoro are also attached to star.

Patricia Riggen is directing from a script by Mikko Alanne and Jose Rivera. Mike Medavoy, who announced the casting Sunday at Cannes, is producing alongside Edward McGurn.

Antonio Banderas will next be seen in Robert Rodriguez's sequel Machete Kills.

Production is scheduled to begin in the fall in Chile.

Denzel Washington stars as Robert McCall, a former intelligence officer who now lives a solitary existence while holding down a job at Home Depot. He is forced to spring back into action when an act of kindness towards a teenage prostitute (Chloe Moretz) lands him in hot water with the Russian mafia. Marton Csokas will play a deadly fixer for the Russian mob.

Antoine Fuqua is directing from a screenplay by Richard Wenk (The Expendables 2), which is based on the CBS TV series The Equalizer starring Edward Woodward that ran from 1985 to 1989. Production is scheduled to begin this summer in Boston.

Marton Csokas recently starred in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Pawn, and the DirecTV series Rogue. He will next be seen in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

The Equalizer comes to theaters April 11th, 2014 and stars Denzel Washington, Chloe Moretz, Marton Csokas. The film is directed by Antoine Fuqua.

Based on a Bill Granger novel, the story follows an ex-CIA agent (Pierce Brosnan) who goes up against his former protege (Luke Bracey) in a race against time to find a woman (Olga Kurylenko) who holds the key to a vast conspiracy.

Roger Donaldson (The Bank Job) is directing from a screenplay by Michael Finch (Predators) and Karl Gajdusek (Oblivion). The script is based on "There Are No Spies," the seventh novel in Bill Granger's 13-book November Man series.

Beau St. Clair is producing for Pierce Brosnan's production company, Irish Dream Time, with Sriram Das producing for Das Films. No production schedule was given.

November Man comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Pierce Brosnan, Olga Kurylenko, Luke Bracey, Bill Smitrovich. The film is directed by Roger Donaldson.

Image acquired the film from producers/financiers Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, Bavaria Pictures GmbH and Kaminski Stiehm. Global Screen is handling international sales and will be attending the upcoming Cannes film market. The film will be released via ultra VOD in October and then theatrically in markets across the country.

Last Love stars Michael Caine as a lonely American widower who learns to love life again after a chance meeting with a young woman (Clémence Poésy) while living in Paris. The film, starring the Academy Award winning Caine and scored by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer, was filmed entirely in Paris, France.

Chloe Moretz will next be seen in Kimberly Peirce's Stephen King reboot Carrie, while Asa Butterfield stars in Gavin Hood's Ender's Game. They previously starred together in Martin Scorsese's Hugo.

Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski are best known for their award-winning animated shorts Madame Tutli Putli and Higglety Pigglety Pop!.

Production is scheduled to begin in February 2014 in Germany and Serbia.

The film follows a Baker (James Corden) and his wife, who try to lift a curse put on their family by an evil witch. The couple travel into the woods to confront the witch and demand that she undo the spell cast on them. During their journey, they run into a group of classic fairy tale characters including Rapunzel, Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood.

Johnny Depp is playing the wolf alongside Meryl Streep, who will be portraying the evil witch. Chris Pine and Jake Gyllenhaal are teaming up to play self absorbed princes of Cinderella and Rapunzel. Emily Blunt will be taking the role of the baker's wife with Christine Baranski portraying Cinderella's mean-spirited stepmother.

Rob Marshall is directing from a screenplay provided by James Lapine. The studio will begin production this fall.

Into the Woods comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Chris Pine, Jake Gyllenhaal. The film is directed by Rob Marshall.

The project has been in development since 2010, when Ricardo de Montreuil's short film of the same name debuted. Liam Hemsworth was initially attached to star, but he is no longer involved. The story centers on a man with incredible, super-human talents, who is on the run from robotic cop drones in downtown Los Angeles, while a police ship hovers the skies, coordinating the chase.

Gold Circle has come aboard to co-finance with Universal, with Paul Brooks is producing alongside Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson. Scott Niemeyer, Nick Osborne, Trevor Engelson, and Oly Obst executive producing. Production may begin later this year.

Gerard Butler most recently starred in the ensemble comedy Movie 43 and the action-thriller Olympus Has Fallen. His upcoming projects include Dynamo and the animated sequel How to Train Your Dragon 2.

The Raven is in development and stars Gerard Butler. The film is directed by Ricardo de Montreuil.

The story centers on a privileged 17-year-old girl in 1945, who decides to skip her family's trip to Paris, so she can start up a relationship with a young Jewish valet parking attendant.

Aldamisa is financing, with Sergei Bespalov, Peter D. Graves, and Barry Spikings producing. Production is slated to begin in the first half of 2014.

Summer Crossing comes to theaters in 2014. The film is directed by Scarlett Johansson.

Broken City writer Brian Tucker penned this screenplay that follows an assassin who gets poisoned and must races against the clock to find a cure, to get his revenge before he "expires."

Randall Emmett and George Furla are producing through their Emmett/Furla Films company, which is producing and fully financing the $60 million project. Brian Tucker is also producing, with Stephen J. Eads executive producing. Emmett/Furla is currently in negotiations with an unidentified director, before they present the project to international buyers this June.

Bruce Willis previously worked with Emmett/Furla on Fire with Fire and Setup. The actor recently starred in A Good Day to Die Hard and G.I. Joe Retaliation. He will be seen later this year in Red 2 and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.

Expiration comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Bruce Willis.

The project is based off a 2012 e-book by author Andy Weir, which centers on an astronaut who becomes stranded on Mars, and must find some way to make it back to Earth. The story is said to be a cross between Apollo 13 and Cast Away. Insiders also claim that the story is much different from Gravity, director Alfonso Cuarón's upcoming thriller starring Sandra Bullock as an astronaut lost in space.

Simon Kinberg is producing through his Genre Films company, alongside Aditya Sood. No production schedule was given.

Drew Goddard also wrote the screenplay for Steven Spielberg's Robopocalypse, which was put on indefinite hold back in January. His other writing credits include Cloverfield, and episodes of hit TV shows such as Lost, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Alias.

The Vatican Tapes marks Lakeshore's third partnership with Neveldine after he penned the screenplays for Jason Statham starrers Crank and Crank High Voltage as well as Gamer. Neveldine's other films include Nicolas Cage's Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance. In addition to Lakeshore's bigger genre fare such as the highly successful Underworld franchise, Lakeshore has also had box office success with moderate budget films in this genre such as The Exorcism of Emily Rose, which grossed over $75M domestically and over $69M internationally.

The Vatican Tapes follows the haunting tale of 27 year-old Angela Holmes, who accidentally cuts her finger and ends up in the emergency room. Infection leads to erratic behavior, and she begins to have a devastating effect on anyone close, causing serious injury and death. Priests examine Holmes and believe she is possessed, but when the Vatican is called upon to exorcise the demon, the possession proves to be an ancient satanic force more powerful than they imagined.

Upcoming Lakeshore releases include: Lakeshore Entertainment, Hopscotch Features and Lionsgate production I, Frankenstein with Aaron Eckhart which Lionsgate will release in January 2014 and Walk of Shame, starring Elizabeth Banks and James Marsden, which will be released in September 2013. In addition, the company recently announced the launch of Lakeshore Premium Digital Content, a premier digital distribution strategy for its existing catalogue of motion pictures.

The Vatican Tapes comes to theaters in 2014. The film is directed by Mark Neveldine.

The project is an adaptation of novel by Thomas Pynchon and follows private investigator Doc Sportello (Joaquin Phoenix). He becomes involved in an investigation surrounding the disappearance of his ex-girlfriend's current flame and billionaire land developer, Mickey Wolfman. Owen Wilson will be portraying musician Coy Harlingen with Benicio Del Toro playing the P.I.'s attorney. No word on who Reese Witherspoon will be playing.

Paul Thomas Anderson is directing from a script he penned. He is also producing with JoAnne Sellar, Daniel Lupi and John Lesher of his Ghoulardi Film Co.

Reese Witherspoon will next be seen in Atom Egoyan's West Memphis Three story, Devil's Knot.

Inherent Vice comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Joaquin Phoenix. The film is directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

Based on the classic sci-fi novel by Robert C. O'Brien, the psychological thriller follows a teenage girl (Amanda Seyfried), who seems to be the only one left alive after a devastating apocalyptic event. Eventually a scientist (Chiwetel Ejiofor) finds her on the farm she is living on and they end up falling in love. Chris Pine will be portraying another young survivor, who complicates things between the new couple.

Craig Zobel is directing from a script by Nissar Modi. Tobey Maguire is producing with Matthew Plouffe, Skuli Fr. Malmquist, Thor Sigurjonsson and Joni Sighvatsson.

Production is slated to begin this August.

The film tells the true story of Boston crime boss James 'Whitey' Bulger, who was the brother of Massachusetts state senator William M. Bulger. The gangster became a FBI informant in a plot to take down a rival Mafia family. In return, the Feds double crossed the infamous criminal and ended up prosecuting him as well.

Johnny Depp will be portraying James 'Whitey' Bulger with Joel Edgerton taking on the role of FBI agent John Connolly, who was childhood friend of the crime boss.

Barry Levinson is directing with Brian Oliver, Tyler Thompson, Nigel Sinclair, Tobin Armbrust, John Lesher and Christi Dembrowski producing.

Black Mass comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Johnny Depp. The film is directed by Barry Levinson.

Park Pictures Features will produce the film in partnership with Hoffman's Cooper's Town Productions and Slattery's Shoestring Pictures, which makes its producing debut with this film. Acclaimed director/cinematographer Lance Acord has signed on to shoot the film, which will be produced by Sam Bisbee, Jackie Kelman Bisbee, Slattery, Lance Acord and Galt Niederhoffer, for Park Pictures and Emily Ziff and Hoffman for Cooper's Town. The film will be executive produced by Wendy Neu and White Hat Entertainment's Danny Rifkin, Tom Valerio, Rick Rifkin and Bill Perry. Sara Murphy of Cooper's Town will co-produce, with Theodora Dunlap and Erika Hampson of Park Pictures Features.

Set in the gritty blue-collar neighborhood of God's Pocket Mickey's crazy stepson Leon is killed in a construction 'accident' and Mickey quickly tries to bury the bad news with the body. But when a local columnist comes sniffing around for the truth, things go from bad to worse. Mickey finds himself stuck in a life and death struggle between a body he can't bury, a wife he can't please and a debt he can't pay.

Philip Seymour Hoffman recently wrapped production on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Anton Corbijn's A Most Wanted Man. He was previously seen in Paul Thomas Anderson's The Master and the independent film, A Late Quartet. Hoffman is represented by attorney Robert Marshall at Greenberg, Glusker.

Based on the true story of a never-explained avionic phenomenon, Departure follows a brilliant Miami-based FAA investigator who is obsessed with learning how a 727 suddenly vanished into thin air and then reappeared in the exact same spot ten minutes later. As mysterious occurrences continue to occur with increasing frequency in the skies over Miami, the investigation becomes personal when the employee's beloved wife is on one of the planes affected.

The story is inspired by the book "Ghosts of the Air" by Martin Caidin, which documents real accounts from pilots who have experienced flight anomalies.

Dan Freedman negotiated the deals for Good Universe. Billy Ray is represented by CAA, Management 360 and attorney Peter Nichols of Lichter, Grossman, Nichols, Adler & Feldman.

Plot details are few and far between, but we do know that the found footage project will involve time travel. First time writers Andrew Stark and Jason Pagan are penning the script.

Dean Israelite is directing the project with Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form producing.

Jonny Weston is best known for starring alongside Gerard Butler in Chasing Mavericks. Sofia Black-D'Elia played Tea Marvelli in MTV's short lived dramedy series Skins.

Production will begin this summer in Atlanta.

The story centers on Megan (Hailee Steinfeld), a 16-year-old girl who has been raised at an elite boarding school that trains teenage assassins. She decides to fake her own death and enroll at a local high school, to get a taste of "normal" high school life, which she soon learns is not all it's cracked up to be. Samuel L. Jackson will play Megan's mentor and trainer.

Kyle Newman (Fanboys) is directing from a screenplay by John D'Arco, with Brett Ratner producing alongside John Cheng, Ted Hartley, Vanessa Coifman, and Sukee Chew. No production schedule was given.

Samuel L. Jackson lends his voice to the DreamWorks Animation comedy Turbo this summer, and he will next be seen in RoboCop.

Barely Lethal is in development and stars Hailee Steinfeld, Samuel L. Jackson. The film is directed by Kyle Newman.

The story follows a couple (Joel Edgerton and Michelle Williams) whose secret rendezvous is interrupted by a well-planned robbery. Filippo Timi and Kseniya Rappoport starred in the original film The Double Hour, which received a domestic release in 2011.

Joshua Marston (Maria Full of Grace) is directing the remake from his own script, with Indigo Films' Nicola Giuliano, Vertigo Entertainment's Roy Lee, and Journeyman Pictures' Paul Mezey producing. No production schedule was given.

Joel Edgerton currently stars in The Great Gatsby, which opened in theaters last weekend. Michelle Williams recently portrayed Glinda the Good Witch in Disney's Oz: The Great and Powerful.

The Double Hour comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Joel Edgerton, Michelle Williams. The film is directed by Joshua Marston.

Song One is the story of a young woman who strikes up a relationship with her ailing brother's favorite musician. Lotus will handle international sales and introduce the film to foreign buyers this week in Cannes while CAA, who arranged financing, will be representing the domestic rights. Michael Lynton, Chairman & CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment, Amy Pascal, Co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Mikael Hed, CEO of Rovio Entertainment jointly announced their partnership today. John Cohen and David Maisel - producer of Despicable Me and executive producer of David Maisel, respectively - are both on board for the new Angry Birds feature film. Cohen will serve as producer and Maisel is executive producer.

Angry Birds is one of the world's biggest entertainment franchises, starting in 2009 with the original mobile game that remains the number one paid app of all time. Angry Birds has expanded rapidly into entertainment, publishing, and licensing to become a beloved international brand.

Angry Birds has been praised for its great value and simple, casual gameplay. Players use a slingshot to launch birds at green pigs in an attempt to get their eggs back, with the game setting the model for what is possible in terms of game development and commercial success. To date, the Angry Birds and Bad Piggies games have been downloaded more than 1.7 billion times across platforms and versions.

The upcoming movie marks Rovio Entertainment's first foray into feature films, although fans have already been introduced to the Angry Birds world with the weekly Angry Birds Toons animated series. Rovio launched the series in March through its Angry Birds apps as well as on select video-on-demand channel providers, Smart TVs, connected devices, and on select TV networks around the world. Paving the way for a full-length feature film, Angry Birds Toons has been a massive success for Rovio clocking in over 150 million views from the Angry Birds apps alone within the first six weeks.

Angry Birds comes to theaters July 1st, 2016.

Tokarev begins physical production in Alabama in June. Hannibal Classics' sales division will handle worldwide sales and will be selling the film in Cannes. Here's what producer and Hannibal Classics CEO Richard Rionda Del Castro said in a statement.

Tokarev marks Spanish Director Paco Cabezas' American debut. Final casting is underway. Joining Rionda Del Castro as Producer is Michael Mendelsohn. Executive Producers are Nicolas Cage, Patricia Eberle, Mike Nilon, Hayley Magouirk, Jim Agnew, Sean Keller, Cam Cannon, Martin J. Barab and Frederico Lapenda.

Tokarev tells the story of Paul Maguire (Cage), a former criminal in search of his daughter's kidnappers.

The deal was negotiated by Bromiley, Mark Ward and Michael Bard Bayer on behalf of Image Entertainment and on behalf of Hannibal Classics by Rionda Del Castro and Martin J. Barab of Hamrick & Evans, LLP.

Tokarev comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Nicolas Cage. The film is directed by Paco Cabezas.

The story follows Carl Casper (Jon Favreau) who loses his job as a chef in Los Angeles, and decides to start up a food truck to get his culinary juices flowing again, and reconnect with his family. Scarlett Johansson is playing Molly, the restaurant manager and Carl's on-and-off love interest. Sofía Vergara, John Leguizamo, Bobby Cannavale, and Robert Downey Jr. co-star in the indie.

Jon Favreau is directing from his own original screenplay and producing alongside Karen Gilchrist and Sergei Bespalov of Aldamisa, which is providing the financing. Production is scheduled to begin July 8 in Los Angeles.

In related news, the project has hit a bit of a stumbling block, in the form of a cease-and-desist order. As you may know, there is a competing project entitled Chef, which has Bradley Cooper and Omar Sy attached to star. Sony Pictures, which previously controlled the property before selling its stake to The Weinstein Company, sent out a cease-and-desist order to the Jon Favreau project, to try and persuade them to find another title. We'll have to wait and see if Jon Favreau will budge and re-title the film.

Chef comes to theaters in 2015 and stars Jon Favreau, Sofía Vergara, John Leguizamo, Bobby Cannavale, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson. The film is directed by Jon Favreau.

No plot details have been revealed. Christopher McQuarrie is in talks to direct the project with Tom Cruise producing alongside J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot and Skydance Productions.

Drew Pearce is best known for co-writing Pacific Rim with Guillermo del Toro and Travis Beacham. He also co-wrote Iron Man 3 with Shane Black, Stan Lee, Don Heck, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby.

Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol brought in $700 million worldwide. The entire franchise has earned over $2 billion dollars in it's history. Production will begin after Tom Cruise wraps up The Man from U.N.C.L.E. this fall.

Mission: Impossible 5 comes to theaters in 2015 and stars Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Ving Rhames.

The film will tell the rags to riches story of music legend Neil Bogart, who grew up in the Glenwood Houses, the housing projects in the Flatlands section of Brooklyn in the 1950s. The artist defined pop music during his time and was credited with discovering acts such as Curtis Mayfield, Bill Withers, Gladys Knight, KISS, Parliament, Donna Summer and the Village People. He died of cancer and lymphoma in 1982 at the age of 39.

Justin Timberlake will be starring in the film as the infamous record executive, who was a big part with the rise of disco. Mark Damon's Foresight Unlimited is financing and producing the project with the legend's son Timothy Scott Bogart, who also wrote the script.

A director has not been announced, but they are expecting to start production early next year.

Based on the Broadway musical, the project is a mash-up of classic fairy tales that revolves around a Baker and his wife. The couple attempt to lift a curse put on their family by traveling into the woods to confront the witch that cast the spell upon them. On their journey, they meet a group of iconic characters such as Rapunzel, Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood.

Johnny Depp will be playing the wolf with Meryl Streep portraying the evil witch. Chris Pine and Jake Gyllenhaal are teaming up to play pompous and cocky princes of Cinderella and Rapunzel.

Rob Marshall is directing from a screenplay provided by James Lapine. The studio is expected to start production this fall.

Into the Woods comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Chris Pine, Jake Gyllenhaal. The film is directed by Rob Marshall.

Paul Walker stars as an undercover cop who enters a tenement dubbed Brick Mansions, to stop a neutron bomb that is ticking down, possessed by a ruthless drug warlord (RZA). David Belle plays a small-time drug dealer who teams up with the police officer. Catalina Denis plays the girlfriend of David Belle's character, who is kidnapped by the overlord.

Camille Delamarre is directing from a screenplay by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. Luc Besson is also producing alongside Christophe Lambert and Relativity Media's Ryan Kavanaugh and Tucker Tooley. Production is currently under way in Montreal.

RZA recently starred in The Man with the Iron Fists and G.I. Joe Retaliation. Catalina Denis starred in the French comedy Le Mac and the thriller Sleepless Night.

Brick Mansions comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Paul Walker, RZA, Catalina Denis, David Belle.

The story centers on a man (Adam Sandler) and a woman (Drew Barrymore) who, after a terrible blind date, become stuck at a family resort with the children of their previous marriages. Chelsea Handler is playing the best friend of Drew Barrymore's character. Joel McHale also stars as Drew Barrymore's ex-husband.

Frank Coraci is directing from a screenplay by Ivan Menchell and Clare Sera, which is currently being rewritten by Adam Sandler and Tim Herlihy.

Production will begin next week in South Africa, before shifting to Georgia.

Chelsea Handler starred in feature films This Means War and Fun Size last year, in addition to hosting the E! late-night talk show Chelsea Lately, and starring in the companion show After Lately.

Blended comes to theaters May 23rd, 2014 and stars Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore, Joel McHale, Chelsea Handler. The film is directed by Frank Coraci.

The story centers on 35-year-old Aidan (Zach Braff) an actor who is struggling to provide for his family. When his ailing father (Mandy Patinkin) can no longer afford to pay for his young children's private school, Aidan reluctantly agrees to home school them, learning a lot about himself in the process.
