Back in April, director Adam McKay revealed he was contacting the actresses representatives and said there was, "something for her" in the story. It isn't known how large her role may be in the sequel at this time. The director also stated that this follow-up will revolve around the advent of the 24-hour news cycle, and the growing diversity of TV news in the late 1970s.

Adam McKay is directing from a script he's currently writing with Will Ferrell. Production is tentatively scheduled to begin in January.

The Weinstein Company announced an online contest today, where aspiring filmmakers can submit an original short inspired by Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained. One lucky winner will meet the director at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. The Weinstein Company and Red Bull North America are excited to announce an online contest for emerging filmmakers with Quentin Tarantino at the helm. Quentin has charged filmmakers with the challenge to "find your own voice," and has exclusively harnessed the power of Red Bull Media House to help get the word out.

Starting June 15th, contestants will have the opportunity to inspire Quentin Tarantino with their own original content. Contestants will have two weeks to create and submit an original multi-media piece that will be viewed and judged by Quentin and his team. The piece must be a maximum of three minutes in length and incorporate footage from either the official Django Unchained Trailer, or from one of three of Quentin Tarantino's favorite spaghetti westerns that inspired the creation of Django Unchained. Included in these are: Django, Sergio Corbucci (1966), The Grand Duel, Giancarlo Santi (1972) and Day of Anger, Tonino Valerii (1967). In addition, contestants must include a musical track from one of Red Bull Records featured bands including: platinum recording artist AWOLNation, the UK's breakout artist of the year Twin Atlantic and dance chart artists Innerpartysytem as a part of the pieces soundtrack.

Sony Pictures has released an international poster for Looper, debuting in theaters nationwide September 28. Back in January, director Rian Johnson revealed a photo of himself inside the time travel device used in his sci-fi thriller. Check out this U.K. quad poster, which offers another intriguing look at this bizarre machine, and you can read on for details regarding a new viral website.

The poster also features the numbers "07153902935" scratched into the wall. It turns out to be a code for this viral website, and if you click on the time machine, the following photo of Jeff Daniels appears.

Drafthouse Films, the film distribution arm of the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, announced today their acquisition of North American rights to explosive '80s martial arts gem Miami Connection. Directed by 9th degree black belt philosopher/author/inspirational speaker Grandmaster Y.K. Kim, the film tells the story of fearless synth rock band Dragon Sound as they embark on a roundhouse wreck-wave of crime-crushing justice in the streets of Orlando. Now in HD from elements sourced by the America Genre Film Archive (AGFA), Miami Connection will have its official re-launch screening at this year's New York Asian Film Festival on Saturday, July 7th (with Grandmaster Y.K. Kim in attendance) and will return to cinemas, home video and debut on digital platforms in late 2012.

Following Miami Connection's very limited theatrical and scarce VHS release in 1987, the film vanished into obscurity. Over two decades later, Alamo Drafthouse programmer Zack Carlson blindly purchased a rare 35mm print from a reluctant eBay seller for $50. A small test screening of the film's first reel unveiled a relentless fury of ninjas, rock 'n' roll, lawless bikers and brutal knife fights. The crowd lost their minds. "We have multiple weekly 35mm exploitation series at the Drafthouse, and Miami Connection has repeatedly destroyed our audience in a more powerful way than anything else in the 15 years of our theater's existence," says Carlson. The film has since screened across the country at select festivals and repertory theaters, championed by critics such as Joel Modelo of Examiner.com, who proclaimed it a "hilariously rollicking good time."

The film is based on the autobiography of Solomon Northrup, who was kidnapped in Washington DC and wrongfully enslaved after being born a free man. The film follows him as he works on a Louisiana cotton plantation until his rescue 12 years later.

Chiwetel Ejiofor is playing the kidnapped slave with Paul Dano playing the slave owner.

Steve McQueen co-wrote the film with Red Tails' John Ridley.

The actor is best known for his role on the hit BBC series Sherlock and is making an appearance in the upcoming Star Trek sequel.

12 Years a Slave comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Paul Dano, Benedict Cumberbatch. The film is directed by Steve McQueen.

The project is an adaptation of a graphic novel by John Wagner and Arthur Ranson and follows Harry Exton, a hit-man who takes part in a game organized by a group of millionaires. The game pits trained killers against each other in a fight to the death, while the rich bet on them. The main character decides to opt of of the competition and he finds that the only way out is to kill them all.

Roger Kass, Josh Braun and Michael De Luca are producing the film.

Walt Disney Animation Studios has released four concept art images from Paperman, the new animated short set to debut in front of Wreck-It Ralph in theaters November 2. Take a look at these illustrations, and read on for more information regarding this innovative short.

John Kahrs directs this tale, which utilizes a new technique that blends hand-drawn animation with CGI. The story follows a lonely man who meets the woman of his dreams during the morning commute. When he spots her in a skyscraper across the street, the desperate man tries to get her attention by throwing paper airplanes towards her building.

Paperman comes to theaters November 2nd, 2012.

Five new photos have been released from The Amazing Spider-Man, which arrives in theaters nationwide July 3. Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy is highlighted in one of the photos, but the rest showcase Irrfan Khan, who plays Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans) lab assistant, Dr. Ratha. Christopher Mintz-Plasse is also close to finalizing his deal, and Nicolas Cage is in negotiations to return in a cameo role. None of the Kick-Ass cast members had sequel deals in place, which fueled speculation that some of the roles may be re-cast. There are still several other new roles yet to be filled.

Jeff Wadlow is directing from his own screenplay, which is adapted from Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.'s comic book series. Matthew Vaughn directed the original Kick-Ass in 2010, but isn't available to direct the sequel, since he is making the X-Men: First Class Sequel in January.

If all the deals are finalized, production will likely begin in August.

Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Aaron Johnson, Lyndsy Fonseca, Chloe Moretz, Clark Duke, Evan Peters. The film is directed by Jeff Wadlow.

The actor revealed in a brief email to The Los Angeles Times that it's, "Not going to happen." He is coming off two straight box office flops with Disney's John Carter and Universal's Battleship. Lionsgate would not confirm or deny that Armie Hammer and Garrett Hedlund are still in the running to play Finnick.

Francis Lawrence is directing Catching Fire from a screenplay by Michael Arndt. This follow-up to The Hunger Games centers on the Third Quarter Quell, otherwise known as the 75th Annual Hunger Games. In this anniversary edition of the games, past winners are invited/forced back onto the battlefield to fight for their district once more. Finnick, the District 4 winner of the 65th Annual Hunger Games, forms an intriguing alliance with Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) during the games.

Production is scheduled to begin later this summer.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire comes to theaters December 22nd, 2013 and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones. The film is directed by Francis Lawrence.

Lionsgate has released the first TV spot for The Expendables 2, which explodes into theaters nationwide August 17. Sylvester Stallone returns as Barney Ross, who leads is team of ruthless mercenaries on a mission to stop a dangerous threat, and to avenge the death of one of their own. The Expendables 2 comes to theaters August 17th, 2012 and stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, Liam Hemsworth, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Jet Li. The film is directed by Simon West.

On the heels of the $344 million worldwide success of Titanic 3D, the studio and director Roland Emmerich, in conjunction with Stereo 3D, which did the work on Titanic, will produce a top quality 3D version of the iconic Independence Day. ID43D will be released worldwide on July 3, 2013.

The studio also staked its 2014 summer with three giant tentpoles. First up, Fox, together with Disney and Dreamworks, has shifted the release of Steven Spielberg's epic Robopocalypse to go worldwide on April 25, 2014, the same weekend that Marvel's The Avengers was released internationally this year. Disney distributes domestically. (ID43D now occupies its former release date.)

Then on Memorial Day (May 23, 2014), Fox unleashes Dawn of the Planet of the Apes worldwide, the sequel to the $483 million grossing Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Rupert Wyatt, who helmed the 2011 smash, returns to direct. The returning producers are Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.

And on July 18, 2014, Fox releases worldwide the third of its summer tentpoles, the currently untitled X-Men: First Class Sequel, to be directed by Matthew Vaughn.

Fox also announced its Christmas 2013 line-up, with The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, starring Ben Stiller and Kristen Wiig, and directed by Ben Stiller, set for Christmas Day. Samuel Goldwyn, John Goldwyn, Stuart Cornfeld and Ben Stiller produce the film.

Also for Christmas, the studio will shift Walking with Dinosaurs 3D from October 11 to December 20, 2013. The film is based on the massively successful TV series and live show, which has grossed more than $250 million in box office worldwide.

‪‪Other 2013 dates include the following: Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, based on Rick Riordan's publishing phenomenon, goes out August 16, 2013, moving from March 15. And Fox earlier announced that Beyoncé Knowles would headline the voice cast of Epic, in theaters May 24, 2013, from the makers of Ice Age and Rio. The film was previously known as Leafmen. Also joining the cast are Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Knoxville, Aziz Ansari, Jason Sudeikis, Steven Tyler, Blake Anderson and Judah Friedlander. ‪‪

Lastly, an as-yet-Untitled Comedy starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) will land in theaters April 5, 2013.

Independence Day comes to theaters July 3rd, 2013 and stars Will Smith, Bill Pullman, Jeff Goldblum, Mary McDonnell, Judd Hirsch, Robert Loggia, Randy Quaid, Margaret Colin. The film is directed by Roland Emmerich.

Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney star in this Moscow-set action tale as Detective John McClane and his estranged son Jack, who must put their differences aside to protect the world from imminent disaster. No details were given for Anne Vyalitsyna's character. She joins a cast which also includes Cole Hauser, Sebastian Koch, Yuliya Snigir, Amaury Nolasco, and Megalyn Echikunwoke.

John Moore is directing from a screenplay by Skip Woods, with Alex Young producing. Shooting is already under way in Budapest, Hungary.

A Good Day to Die Hard comes to theaters February 14th, 2013 and stars Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney, Sebastian Koch, Cole Hauser, Yuliya Snigir, Amaury Nolasco, Megalyn Echikunwoke. The film is directed by John Moore.

The Lone Ranger will be pushed back to July 3, 2013, where it will open against the new 3D version of Independence Day and Universal's animated sequel Despicable Me 2. The adventure starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer was originally slated to open May 31, 2013.

Thor 2 has been moved back just one week, from November 15, 2013 to November 8, 2013. The superhero sequel starring Chris Hemsworth will premiere against Me and My Shadow and the One Direction 3D Concert Movie.

The Lone Ranger comes to theaters July 3rd, 2013 and stars Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer, Ruth Wilson, Helena Bonham Carter, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Tom Wilkinson, James Frain. The film is directed by Gore Verbinski.

20th Century Fox has released four new clips and a behind-the-scenes video for Prometheus, which debuts in theaters nationwide June 8. Director Ridley Scott makes his long-awaited return to the sci-fi genre with this thriller about a group of scientists who journey into space, searching for answers to humanity's most compelling questions.

Prometheus comes to theaters June 8th, 2012 and stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Logan Marshall-Green, Guy Pearce. The film is directed by Ridley Scott.

Both Red and Step Up are Summit Entertainment properties, which Lionsgate now controls after purchasing Summit back in January. All of these franchises are still viable box office properties, with The Expendables 2 hitting theaters August 17, Red 2 arriving August 2, 2013, and Step Up: Revolution debuting July 27.

Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer listed all three properties' potential for a TV series during a conference call with investors this morning. Nothing is formalized as of yet, but it's clear the studio has a lot more coin to play with after the blockbuster success of The Hunger Games.

Lionsgate's TV division produces hit shows such as Mad Men, Weeds, and Nurse Jackie.

The Expendables was released August 13th, 2010 and stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, David Zayas. The film is directed by Sylvester Stallone.

Oscar and DGA-nominee Lasse Hallström (The Cider House Rules) will direct the film with Temple Hill Entertainment's Marty Bowen (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2) and Wyck Godfrey (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2) producing alongside Relativity's CEO Ryan Kavanaugh (The Fighter). Sparks, who recently launched his production company, Nicholas Sparks Productions, will also produce. Relativity's Tooley (The Fighter) will serve as executive producer. The screenplay is written by Dana Stevens (City of Angels) and Leslie Bohem (Dante's Peak). Relativity previously teamed up with Hallström, Bowen, Godfrey and Sparks on the 2010 box office hit Dear John.

Sparks said, "I'm thrilled that Josh and Julianne have agreed to come aboard Safe Haven. It's hard to think of an actor better suited to play the character of Alex than Josh, and Julianne will bring a combination of vulnerability and strength to the role of Katie. They are both such talented and charismatic individuals - and best of all, they have tremendous personal chemistry, which is essential for this film."

Safe Haven is an affirming and suspenseful story about a young woman's struggle to find love again after she arrives in a small North Carolina town. Her reluctance to join the tight-knit community raises questions about her past. Slowly, she begins putting down roots, and gains the courage to start a relationship with Alex, a widowed store owner with two young children. But dark secrets intrude on her new life with such terror that she is forced to rediscover the meaning of sacrifice and rely on the power of love in this deeply moving romantic thriller.

Duhamel was most recently seen in the romantic comedy New Year's Eve and Michael Bay's Oscar-nominated sci-fi action thriller Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Hough starred in the 2011 remake of the classic Footloose and stars in the highly-anticipated Rock of Ages with Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Mary J. Blige, opening June 15th. She has completed filming the female lead role in Diablo Cody's untitled directorial debut opposite Russell Brand and Octavia Spencer.

Duhamel was represented by ICM, John Carrabino Management, and Hansen, Jacobsen & Teller in the deal. Hough was represented by CAA and Azoff, Geary, Paul, Smith Management in the deal.

Safe Haven comes to theaters February 8th, 2013 and stars Josh Duhamel, Julianne Hough. The film is directed by Lasse Hallström.

Walt Disney Pictures has released the second poster for Frankenweenie, director Tim Burton's 3D stop-motion animated tale which arrives in theaters October 5. Charlie Tahan stars as young Victor Frankenstein, who conducts a bizarre experiment which brings his dog Sparky back from the dead. Take a look at Sparky in this 1-sheet.

Frankenweenie comes to theaters October 5th, 2012 and stars Winona Ryder, Martin Landau, Martin Short, Catherine O'Hara, Charlie Tahan, Atticus Shaffer, Robert Capron, Conchata Ferrell. The film is directed by Tim Burton.

We first reported on the project last May, which centers on two rival families who play a tackle football game every Thanksgiving Day. The comedy was originally set to reunite The Other Guys director Adam McKay with stars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. However, we reported in February that Mark Wahlberg will star in Lone Survivor, and his commitment to that Navy SEALs thriller lead to his departure on Three Mississippi.

Adam McKay was also forced to drop out after Paramount resurrected the comedy sequel Anchorman: The Legend Continues in March. We reported in April that Sean Anders will direct from a screenplay by John Morris, Scott Silveri, and Robert Carlock. Sean Anders also recently directed That's My Boy, which stars Adam Sandler.

Production will likely begin this fall, before Will Ferrell and Adam McKay start shooting Anchorman: The Legend Continues in January.

Throughout The Walking Dead Marathon, Hardwick will introduce each episode from the set of Season 3 in Atlanta, giving viewers a glimpse of the new sets. Along with several cast members and producers, he will set up the storyline from each episode, and discuss the classic moments and unique characters featured. In addition, every episode with be wrapped with exclusive character and scene-specific content from the first two seasons, including behind-the-scenes footage and sit-down interviews with the cast.

In the hour-long Talking Dead event, shot live in Los Angeles, Hardwick will give fans a first look at The Walking Dead Season 3, including a scene from the new season, and brand new video interviews with the cast, a tour of the new set and a sneak peek at the props and wardrobes featured in Season 3. Hardwick will also sit down with in-studio guests including the show's executive producers and other celebrity fans. Viewers will get information on the show's presence at this year's Comic-Con, including a look at the construction of The Walking Dead booth, updates on AMC's The Walking Dead Social Game, and other show-related news and topics.

The comedy follows two retired boxers who are returning to the ring for one final Grudge Match. Doug Ellin penned the latest draft of the film.

Peter Segal is directing the project with Bill Gerber, Carrie Gillogly and Mark Steven Johnson producing.

Production on the project is expected to start early next year.

Grudge Match comes to theaters in 2012.

The original series followed a group of cave-dwelling puppets called Fraggles. In their lives are a race of small industrious creatures named Doozers, who live in the caves, and the Gorgs, furry giants who look at Fraggles as nuisances.

The novel follows a secret society that builds and launches words as weapons with members called poets. The story revolves two poet lovers who are in a forbidden relationship.

The director decided to take on the project after recieving a advanced copy of the Max Barry novel. He is also working on Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall.

The film is a true story that follows Roy Fontaine, a bisexual serial killer, who chronicles his journey into darkness.

Gary Oldman is playing Wiggy, a taxidermist with a temper and business on the side who partners with Roy Fontaine on a number of crimes before things get heavy. Dominic Monaghan will play David Wright, a key player in Roy's life. Their relationship begins in prison and restarts when they both work on an estate. But a blackmail attempt forces Fontaine's hand and begins his descent into murder and mayhem.

Dark House Films is shooting for a June 6 start to production of Monster Butler in Scotland.

Monster Butler comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Malcolm McDowell, Joanne Whalley, Donald Morrison. The film is directed by Douglas Rath.

Jobs is another biopic currently in the works that stars Ashton Kutcher as the tech innovator. Aaron Sorkin isn't worried about the competition at all. Not because he is overly confident about his own skills as a screenwriter, but because he sees room in the market place for two Steve Jobs biopics. About finding the perfect Steve Jobs for his film, the writer seemed hesitant.

Now, new photos from director Shane Black's Wilmington, N.C. set have revealed that James Badge Dale will also be donning the Iron Patriot armor for this upcoming sequel.

In the comic books, it is Spider-Man's Norman Osborn who first dons the Iron Patriot armor manufactured by Stark Industries shortly after the death of Captain America. When I first arrived, we not only saw iconic Strip locales such as the Rainbow Room, Guitar Center, and Tower Records, but there were also a slew of 80s cars driving to the set. Among them were a Pontiac Fiero, Volkswagon Cabriolet, Chevy Monte Carlo, Datsun 280Z, Chevy Chevette and even a Dodge Reliant K (a.k.a. the K-Car). There was also a Shell gas station they used for the production, and it was said that when shooting wasn't taking place, several cars were seen pulling into the station, drawn to the $1.17 per gallon price on display.

If you're not familiar with the story, Rock of Ages centers on two up and coming young singers, Drew (Diego Boneta) and Sherrie (Julianne Hough), whose paths cross at The Bourbon Room, a club which launched several musical careers back in the day, but has fallen on somewhat hard times. While the story is primarily told through Sherrie's perspective, there are a number of intersecting story lines, including Bourbon Club owner Dennis Dupree (Alec Baldwin) trying to keep his club afloat, Stacee Jaxx (Tom Cruise) becoming romantically involved with a journalist (Malin Akerman), and two L.A. political leaders (Bryan Cranston and Catherine Zeta-Jones) trying to put an end to this era of rock and roll excess.

Playwright Chris D'Arienzo adapted his own stage musical for the silver screen, although director Adam Shankman revealed there will be several major differences between the play and his movie.

The director also told us one of his goals with Rock of Ages was to create a musical that straight men would enjoy.

Aside from just getting to walk around on this amazing set, one of the highlights of my visit was getting to see Tom Cruise's full performance of "Pour Some Sugar On Me," in Adam Shankman's trailer. It's something you truly have to see to believe. Like him or not, the one thing you can never accuse Tom Cruise of is any sort of failure to commit to a role. You don't see Tom Cruise in a long wig with no shirt on singing a Def Leppard song. You see Stacee Jaxx, the fictional, iconic rocker known the world over for his legendary music. You have never seen Tom Cruise like this before. Ever. It was truly a magnificent sight to behold, to see the world's biggest movie star completely transform himself into this musical world's biggest rock star. Here's what Adam Shankman added after we watched the footage.

Before arriving on the set, I was very curious to see how these musical scenes are handled on a live set. We learned that Adam Shankman recorded most of the songs weeks before shooting started, and those songs were piped in through an array of speakers on the set. For instance, the major sequence we saw involved Sherrie, who has just arrived in L.A., fresh off the bus with her suitcase in hand. The scene features the denim-clad Sherrie singing David Lee Roth's "Just Like Paradise" while walking down Sunset Boulevard. It was very intriguing to hear this new version of the song, and to see how the actress has to match up the song with her overall performance. Julianne Hough, who plays the Midwest native Sherrie, told us this scene somewhat mirrors her own experience in moving to Hollywood.

One part of the play that was changed a bit for the movie was a scene where Sherrie gives Stacee a lap dance, which Julianne Hough elaborated on.

Diego Boneta is still fairly new to the acting scene, although he started out as a musician, releasing two albums in Latin American markets. He told us that this project helped him realize that he prepares for his musical endeavors the same way he gets ready for an acting role.

The actor/musician also told us about a scene I'm looking forward to a lot, because it pokes fun at the boy band craze, and features actor/director Eli Roth as a music video director.

I don't think I've ever been on a set before with a such an energetic cast and crew, and this was towards the end of a three month shoot, with just six days left of principal photography on an insanely muggy August night in Miami. We even saw Adam Shankman doing cartwheels on the set, in between takes. To be honest, though, it's probably very easy to be that excited with a stellar ensemble cast, amazing set pieces, and classic tunes blasting throughout the night, setting the tone for what should be one hell of a musical extravaganza.

That about wraps it up from my day on the Rock of Ages set. This musical arrives in theaters June 15, and the soundtrack, which should be wonderful in its own right, debuts June 5. I have never been an enormous fan of the musical genre, but I appreciate a good one when I see it (i.e. Chicago, Singin' in the Rain). If Adam Shankman wanted create a musical that straight guys will enjoy, then consider me as one heterosexual man counted towards that goal, because Rock of Ages looks like an incredibly fun ride that will bring out the long-haired inner rocker in all of us.

In case you didn't know, director Shane Black has quietly starting shooting Iron Man 3 in Wilmington, North Carolina, where star Robert Downey Jr. was spotted walking to set. A few videos have arrived from the location, along with a couple of screen grabs. Watch, and then read on for new details about the plot.

Iron Man 3 - On Set: Cape Fear Club

Iron Man 3 spent last week, leading up to the Memorial Day weekend, shooting in and around The Cape Fear Club on Chestnut and Second Street in Wilmington. Scenes will also be shot at the Wilmington International Airport throughout this week.

According to Comicbook.com, some of the story will take place in Miami, Florida. Screen used vehicles have been spotted around the city sporting logos for the City of Miami. There are also Chinese store fronts being built in Wilmington.

In other news, Latino Review is reporting that a crew member in Wilmington casually let it slip that, as suspected, Ben Kingsley is indeed playing the villain Mandarin. Not only that, he has two twins working for him that do all the dirty work.

With that news out in the open, Latino Review decided to reveal what they know to be fact: Mandarin is only one of the villains in Iron Man 3, with Guy Pearce's Aldrich Killiandoing doing all the heavy lifting as the man who invents Extremis, using it to create a super army.

Anne Hathaway sings as poverty threatens to destroy her life alongside that of Hugh Jackman in director Tom Hooper lavish adaptation of the stage musical Les Miserables. Amanda Seyfried and Russell Crowe also star in this rousing tale of redemption. Watch as Jean Valjean struggles to reclaim his name in the first music heavy trailer.

Les Miserables comes to theaters December 7th, 2012 and stars Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Sacha Baron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter, Eddie Redmayne, Samantha Barks. The film is directed by Tom Hooper.

The director confirms Robert Pattinson's commitment to the film.

The director goes on to talk about how difficult it has been to make the film.

Plot details for the film are being held under wraps, but we do know that the film follows a pair of child actors, who are ruined by Hollywood. The director was unsuccessful in bringing the film to life 5 years ago due to financial issues.

This project is still in early development.

The actress plays the wife of missing scientist Gabriel (Rufus Sewell), who disappeared during a business trip. The family finds out years later that their missing loved one might mysteriously still be alive. Haley Joel Osment plays the actresses' son with Victor Garber portraying his grandfather.

Richie Mehta wrote and is directing the film with Lee Kim producing under his Resolute Films.

Production has already begun in Toronto.

I'll Follow You Down is in development and stars Gillian Anderson, Haley Joel Osment, Rufus Sewell, Victor Garber, John Paul Ruttan, Sarah Manninen, Sherry Miller, Simon Reynolds. The film is directed by Richie Mehta.
