Jon Turteltaub will bring the Bengay as director, with production set to start soon on location in Las Vegas.

The Solution has arranged the financing for the film and Lisa Wilson and Myles Nestel will executive produce the feature film which starts shooting in late October

The company will handle international rights to the film which Lisa Wilson will introduce to buyers at the Cannes Film Market. Roadshow Films will distribute in Australia and New Zealand. CAA is handling the US rights and introduced the product to The Solution.

Driving home after a celebration drink with his team after the long waited bust of a major gang, a decorated police officer (Edgerton) runs a young cyclist off the road. As he gives CPR to the child, fellow officers arrive to take his statement. Ridley Scott is the focus of an in-depth new look at his upcoming sci-fi thriller Prometheus, which is included in the May 25th edition of The Hollywood Reporter. Set up at Waterstone Entertainment, this coming-of-middle age tale will revolve around a group of early thirty-somethings at war with their adolescence. They all come together with the goal of helping one of their friends grow up.

Chris Pine wrote the screenplay with pals Will Greenberg, Drew Howerton, Robert Baker, Ian Gotler, and Tony Liebetrau. It is not known if any of them will also appear in the film.

Michael Patrick Jann is set to direct. No production start date was announced. Chris Pine had this to say about the upcoming project.

Mantivities comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Chris Pine.

The fifteen-year-old actress will play Suzy Banyon (a role originated by the then-twenty-eight-year-old Jessica Harper), a young American girl who transfers to a ballet school in Italy, only to find it controlled by a coven of evil witches.

Though on the side of good, he has never appeared opposite Tony Stark in the Marvel comics.

Iron Man 3 begins shooting this month in North Carolina.

Stolen comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Nicolas Cage, Malin Akerman, Danny Huston. The film is directed by Simon West.

For one, I am only 35 years old, and I have only lived in Hollywood since 2008, so this massive and incredible stretch of road, reconstructed with 1987-style buildings in downtown Miami, struck me as both familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. For instance, the huge Guitar Center on Sunset was present, but 80s staples like Tower Records, which doesn't exist on today's "Strip," was right next door. Of course, one of the other big changes was The Bourbon Room. The fictional club lies at the heart of this musical, which Chris D'Arienzo adapted from his own award-winning stage play.

While Rock of Ages is an ensemble of massive proportions, with stars such as Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, Bryan Cranston, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Paul Giamatti, and Russell Brand populating the cast, the musical truly centers on Drew (Diego Boneta) and Sherrie (Julianne Hough), who are both chasing their dreams in TinselTown. As we all know, dreams don't pay the rent, though, so Drew has been working at The Bourbon Room as a part of the house band, where he meets Sherrie, fresh off the bus from the Midwest.

Yesterday, we showed you a clip featuring Mary J. Blige performing "Any Way You Want It," and an audio sample with Tom Cruise's performance of "Pour Some Sugar on Me." Sadly, we didn't get to speak with either actor on the set, but director Adam Shankman did show us the full "Pour Some Sugar On Me" performance... and I have to say, prepare for a Tom Cruise you have never seen before.

We were able to speak with Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, director Adam Shankman, and production designer John Huttman during our time on the set. I can't quite share those interviews with you quite yet, but stay tuned for my full set visit piece coming in the next few weeks.

Cowgirls N' Angels - Exclusive Bike Home

Cowgirls N' Angels comes to theaters May 25th, 2012 and stars Bailee Madison, Jackson Rathbone, Alicia Witt, James Cromwell, Andrew Sensenig, Frankie Faison, Madison Burge, Kathleen Rose Perkins. The film is directed by Timothy Armstrong.

The film follows a coming-of-age love triangle in the early 1980s. At the center is a bookish English major caught up in the affections of two men. As the romance of her favorite 19th century love stories begins to seep into her own life, the trio move from college to the real world.

The director most recently directed Paul for Universal.

This project is still in development.

The story is based on Gillian Flynn's New York Times bestselling novel and follows Libby Day, a woman who, at seven-years old, survived the brutal massacre of her family and testified against her brother as the murderer. Twenty-five years later, the Kill Club, a secret-society obsessed with solving notorious crimes, bring her to question and confront the truth of what took place that day.

Gilles Paquet-Brenner is directing and writing with Stéphane Marsil and Peter Safran producing through Hugo Productions.

Published late last year, Steve Jobs was Amazon's best-selling book of 2011. In addition, the biography ranked #1 among bestselling hardcover books by a 2:1
margin, with sales of 2,246,569 in 2011, according to Publisher's Weekly.

Commenting on the announcement, Amy Pascal said, "Steve Jobs' story is unique: he was one of the most revolutionary and influential men not just of our time but of all time. There is no writer working in Hollywood today who is more capable of capturing such an extraordinary life for the screen than Aaron Sorkin; in his hands, we're confident that the film will be everything that Jobs himself was: captivating, entertaining, and polarizing."

Aaron Sorkin won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for his work on The Social Network. His other screenplays include Moneyball, Charlie Wilson's War, The American President, Malice, and A Few Good Men.

He has also acquired the motion picture rights to The Politician, the best-selling book by Andrew
Young about the downfall of former Senator John Edwards. He will adapt the book and make his directorial debut with the film, which he will also produce. For television, Sorkin created The West Wing, Sports Night, and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.

He is currently in production on the HBO series The Newsroom, which is scheduled to premiere on June 24, 2012
. For the stage, Sorkin wrote "A Few Good Men" and "Making Movies"; he returned to Broadway in 2007 with "The Farnsworth Invention." Sorkin will return to the theater and make his Broadway debut as a librettist with the 2013-2014
production of "Houdini." Based on the life of legendary magician Harry Houdini,
the musical will star Hugh Jackman and will feature music and lyrics by Oscar and Grammy winner Stephen Schwartz.

Rock of Ages comes to theaters June 15th, 2012 and stars Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, Julianne Hough, Bryan Cranston, Malin Akerman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti. The film is directed by Adam Shankman.

So when Kevin Feige revealed yesterday that two as-yet-unnamed Marvel franchise movies were going to be announced soon, most assumed that this upcoming tie-in to Marvel's The Avengers was not going to be appearing on that impending production slate.

Now, though, if we are to believe Edgar Wright himself, Ant-Man is one of those two impending Marvel stand-alone adventures. First, he gave the Empire Podcase this quote.

/film then reached out to Edgar Wright to clarify that he was indeed talking about shooting Ant-Man this year, not just The World's End. The director confirmed that, stating the following.

So, it looks like he is taking a page from his The Adventures of Tintin collaborator Steven Spielberg by attempting to shoot these two movies in the same year. Its possible one or both productions could bleed into 2013. It's also possible that neither film could go before cameras at all this year.

Ant-Man is in development . The film is directed by Edgar Wright.

We recently caught up with director Parris Patton to discuss the DVD release, which is in stores starting today, Tuesday, May 15th.

Here is our conversation.

Obvious, stupid question first...Are you related to Mike Patton?

Parris Patton: No. Not at all. I saw a video...I forgot what it was for...But strangely enough, he looks a lot like me. I haven't been following his new projects so much. But, you know, from the old days...Yeah, I'm a fan.

The most compelling aspect of the movie, for me at least, are these kids in this van, who tour alongside the Warped Tour, stopping at every venue to sell their CDs. Can you give us an update on where they're at right now?

Parris Patton: Joe Candelaria and the guys from Forever Came Calling have a new drummer. They signed a little indie deal. They were offered a couple of things because of the film, actually. But they didn't feel they were up to that level. They had a few people approach them about working together. But it felt above their pay scale. They are very humble, and they know where they belong, basically. There was a little indie record label that picked them up. And I think they are going to start touring again in two weeks. They are always touring. They are in the same van. The music is better. They have an album they are releasing, I think, right before they go out on tour. It might be coming out now. I am not 100% sure. I just spoke to Joe last week. He is doing really good. Chillin' at 29 Palms, just getting ready to go back out on the road. There's a lot happening with those guys.

When you say 'same van', did they get that thing fixed?

Parris Patton: Well, you know...They fix it as it breaks. They still don't have any money. Something goes wrong, they fix it up. It hasn't been given a complete overhaul or anything. No.

How did you find those guys?

Parris Patton: I stumbled upon them as you are watching the film. I was already filming when I met them. I was doing fan interviews down the line before we went into cover the bands we were doing. I saw this guy selling CDs in line. I liked him immediately. So I listened to his music. He made me realize that there is this whole subculture of people who do that. They sell CDs in line, trying to make it from one city to the next in hopes of being pulled out of the line and put on stage. His music and his story, and his personality, was appealing to me. So I decided to follow them throughout. I met them in San Francisco, which I think was, maybe, the third stop...Something like that. It was the second or third stop. So I met them the moment the audience meets them.

What do you think they brought that might not have been there had you not done those line interviews?

Parris Patton: What was needed to make this film more than just a concert documentary...And I tried to do this with everybody...Was just to dig into the personal stories of these musicians. It's not what you see on stage. It's not what you think they are going to be, really...But Joe's journey was full of peril. While everyone who is in a band on The Warped Tour...If you get on The Warped Tour, you get a guaranteed, and the bands spend some of that guaranteed getting on a bus. Because the tour is so brutal. Doing it in a van is ridiculous. But obviously, Joe didn't have that. He had to take a pretty brutal journey to accomplish his dream. That is what a great journey is made of. Without that...I think about that often...I don't know what I would have done. I would have had a completely different film. Adding that story gave the film some heart, and a true arc, through his character. That is what Joe brought to this story, and I don't know what I would have done without that.

So much time has passed since you shot this to right now, today. What do you think about the progress in that span of time, that these guys we are watching, have made?

Parris Patton: Yeah, you know...I haven't kept up with Mark Posner. I saw Chris Drew at one of our in-store parties. He seems to be doing the same thing he was doing. He just has a million fans, and he is touring all the time. Mitch from Suicide Silence, I have seen him a couple of times. They are doing exactly what they are doing in the film in a lot of ways. Just trying to figure out how to reach more people, and touring. That is what it's all about. I don't know if Posner is sitting in s studio somewhere, reaping the benefits of his radio success. For the most part, it's still a grind for these guys. Obviously, they love it. But it is just so hard to get to that level where you don't need to be on the road. It takes a long time and a massive amount of fans, obviously. It seems like most of them are doing what they were doing, just with a lot more fans. Because they have been out there longer.

You end the film with Pennywise, right?

Parris Patton: They are in there. I don't think they are the actual end of the film. The actual last word goes to The Exposed. They were like a catering band. It was one of the stories that didn't really make it into the film. But I thought he summed it up nicely, like, when how you get off the road you see your girlfriend, your pets, your family, and then within a week, you are itching to get back on the road. But Pennywise is in there. And Fletcher has great interview. He gave us the title to the film. It was great having access to those guys.

You don't focus too much on some of these bigger bands, who've been touring with The Warped Tour since it started. I'm forty years old, and I didn't know most of these guys that get the majority of the spotlight here.

Parris Patton: Me neither. You know, it kind of worked out this way. Andrew W.K. was the headliner, and we did get a lot of great interviews with him. And some great performances. We got them from everybody. But they just didn't fit into the film. It felt like the film was more wanting to be about kids on the rise, and how The Warped Tour helps to accommodate that. It felt like the film wanted to go that way. I'm trying to think of who else...The Casualties were there. But only on the last bit of the tour. Some of the biggest bands were only there for the last few days. Like the Dropkick Murphys, the Casualties, even Pennywise. I don't know that they did the entire tour. They may have, but we didn't catch up with them until the end. It was like that. This is where the film wanted to go. I think a lot of people were expecting to see more of a punk rock retrospective type thing. The truth is, most of the bands on the Warped Tour, for the most part, are new. Kevin Lyman is always looking to see who is going to be big in the following year. What are the kids listening to now? Not what do 40 year olds want to see that they saw twenty years ago...Well, it was seventeen years ago...A lot of it has to do with Kevin Lyman looking ahead. We would give Kevin Lyman CDs for his daughter to listen to. He was choosing bands for the tour that way. That shows you were he thinks the audience is, to keep the show going.

That's where it needs to be. I'm not going to the Warped Tour anytime soon, I don't care who is playing. It's a kids demographic.

Parris Patton: Yeah.

How did you mix the interviews with the behind-the-scenes footage to build the narrative arc you were after?

Parris Patton: I wanted the film to be as verite as possible. I really wanted to plant the audience on the tour, so it felt like they were experiencing it. A lot of the B roll photography, watching the crews set up, and stuff like that...It had to do with giving a sense of what it's like to be out there...With the interviews, they were more about the personal stories. You can try for fifteen and a half months to film a certain event, like a stage dive, or some fantastic thing that happens on the tour to make the film remarkable...Chances are, something like that...If it does happen, you're not going to get it...What you can do is go back to the stories about the people, and how they are feeling about the whole thing. That was the mentality going in. By interviewing Kevin Lyman, and the crewmembers that set it all up...That gives audiences a sense of the family that really makes this thing run. I tried not to say that, I just wanted people to experience that. So I added as little commentary as possible. That's why there is no voice over in the film. We just try to let it play out as naturally as possible.

I've only seen the theatrical release. What can we expect to see on the DVD in terms of extra content?

Parris Patton: I was really happy to have a ton of footage. I shot nearly three hundred hours of footage. When it came to doing the DVD extras, all the bands that I, unfortunately, couldn't put into the film...I was able to put together a nice little piece on each one of them. There are about ten eight-to-twelve minute pieces on the bands that I followed, that didn't make the film. You get some of the bigger names, like Bring Me The Horizon, The Casualties, and Pennywise. Then there were the smaller guys I followed quite a bit. They just didn't make it into the film. I am really happy with the bonus pack. I hope people check it out. I think it adds quite a bit. I think we wound up with great bonus material just by virtue of having so much stuff.

No Room for Rockstars was released March 1st, 2012. The film is directed by Parris Patton.

The story will pick right back up where the last film left off, shortly after Ceaser and his army overtake the Golden Gate Bridge. As the apes grow stronger in their intelligence, humankind is threatened to the point of extinction by a new virus, which causes a social structure collapse. By the end of the film, the apes will rise as the world's new rulers.

Andy Serkis is set to reprise his role as Caesar, ruler of the Apes, in the Untitled Rise of the Planet of the Apes Sequel. Original director Rupert Wyatt is returning as well.

Scott Z. Burns will be working off a first draft penned by Rise of the Planet of the Apes writers Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa.

The offices of a prominent multinational corporation is the setting of Passion, director Brian De Palma's latest thriller about the power struggle between two contemporary women played by Noomi Rapace and Rachel McAdams. Isabelle has unlimited admiration for her direct superior, Christine, a woman well schooled in the ways of power. Thunder Run is an all CG 3-D action thriller based on the non-fiction book "Thunder Run - The Armored Strike to Capture Baghdad," by Pulitzer Prize-winning correspondent David Zucchino. Adapting the story for the screen are Academy Award-winner Robert Port and Ken Nolan, screenwriter of Black Hawk Down.

Thunder Run is the untold story of the dangerous and bloody capture of Baghdad by American Forces at the onset of the Iraq War. In April 2003, three battalions and fewer than a thousand men launched a violent thrust of tanks and Bradley Fighting Vehicles into the heart of a city of five million, igniting a three-day blitzkrieg, which military professionals often refer to as a lightning strike, or "thunder run." In telling the story of the surprise assault on Baghdad--one of the most decisive battles in recent American combat history--this movie paints the harrowing picture of the soldiers on the front lines and the realities of modern warfare.

Acclaimed director Michel Gondry is back from the land of big budget blockbusters (he directed the atrociously misconceived The Green Hornet) to focus once again on endearingly quirky indie fare. His latest project is The We and the I, which follows a group of high school transit riders on their way home to start summer vacation. Watch as a lot of people get on and off the bus in what looks to be a very intriguing character piece.

Guillermo del Toro is attached to this hour long drama as a producer, and its been given a bump of enthusiasm by the Hulk's appearance in this summer's billion dollar movie Marvel's The Avengers.

This is what ABC president Paul Lee said while announcing the rest of ABC's impending slate.

About other Marvel properties coming to ABC via the small screen, Lee had this to say.

Its too early to tell what this means for a third Hulk stand-alone film, and its highly unlikely that Mark Ruffalo will star in this small screen adaptation. ABC is owned by Walt Disney, the company behind Marvel Studios. A TV series based on The Punisher is also said to be in the works for ABC TV.

Prometheus is only a mere three weeks away, so why 20th Century Fox keeps offering up more and more creepy Alien-like footage full of monster spoilers just doesn't make sense. Everyone I know wants to see it, but I only know three people, tops. So, I guess it's not tracking as well as it could be, especially with that R rating in international markets. Its best to hold your anticipation in check and avoid this latest look at the film. If you just can't help yourself, be aware, a couple of awesome moments are hinted at or given away complete. You've been warned. But like a hobo who can't read, I know you're only going to crawl over this barbed wire fence to be mauled by a rabid hound. And you'll be pissed about it all day long. Hoping to fill the Shark Night 3D void in the September release slate, Anchor Bay will be unleasing their imported thriller Bait 3D in theaters this fall. This schlocky sharksploitation flick is hinged on one of the great B movie premises of the last couple years: A group of innocent shoppers are continually terrorized by both a crew of bloodthirsty two-bit cash robbers and a pack of flesh hungry tiger sharks when they all become trapped inside a water-filled supermarket after a Tsunami ravishes their small coastal town. A new red band trailer has arrived for this amusement park truffle. Watch as a shotgun wielding masked man screams, "Clean up on isle 7!" Before being munched to death!

Bait 3D comes to theaters September 6th, 2012 and stars Phoebe Tonkin, Alex Russell, Julian McMahon, Xavier Samuel, Sharni Vinson, Cariba Heine, Lincoln Lewis, Alice Parkinson. The film is directed by Kimble Rendall.

Bruce Willis returns as John McClane in the sequel, which takes the iconic action character to Russia, where he will fight his latest villains. The story begins with John McClane traveling to Moscow to convince some cops into letting his wayward son out of jail for something he did, but when he gets there, things surrounding his son's arrest are not as they appear and world-threatening terrorist hijinks ensue.

Amaury Nolasco is playing a friend of McClane early in the film. Details on Megalyn Echikunwoke's character are being held under wraps.

Production is currently taking place in Europe.

A Good Day to Die Hard comes to theaters February 14th, 2013 and stars Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney, Sebastian Koch, Yuliya Snigir, Amaury Nolasco. The film is directed by John Moore.

The film is an adaptation of adventurer Jack Black's 1926 autobiographical novel and follows his experiences in the hobo underworld as he freight-hops around the Western U.S. and Canada.

Hannah Marks co-stars as a young prostitute who forms an unusual friendship with young Jack Black (Michael Pitt), while Louisa Krause will portray Irish Annie, a street-smart prostitute who may be the closest thing he has to a love interest.

The actress is best know for her memorable appearance in Young Adult as a Hotel worker alongside Charlize Theron.

Production for the film has already begun in Seattle.

Battleship comes to theaters May 18th, 2012 and stars Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgård, Rihanna, Brooklyn Decker, Tadanobu Asano, Hamish Linklater, Liam Neeson, Peter MacNicol. The film is directed by Peter Berg.

The story is described as Die Hard set in the White House, centering on a paramilitary takeover of the Presidential residence. We reported back in March that Sony bought the script by James Vanderbilt (The Amazing Spider-Man) for $3 million, the largest spec script sale this year. It isn't clear yet what character Channing Tatum will play, if a deal is finalized.

Harald Kloser, Laeta Kalogridis, and Brad Fischer are producing alongside Roland Emmerich and James Vanderbilt. Magic Mike screenwriter Reid Carolin, Channing Tatum's producing partner, will executive produce.

No production schedule was revealed.

White House Down comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Channing Tatum. The film is directed by Roland Emmerich.

Marvel's The Avengers is proving to be the phenomenon of the summer, reaching over $1 billion in ticket sales after only 19 days on screen. In the midst of all the excitement, Marvel President Kevin Feige has revealed that two unnamed Marvel films are on the verge of being announced for production in the very near future. Of course, he didn't give any hints about which two superhero franchises these could be.

Speculation is already running rampant about which two films he is referring two. Ant-Man is unlikely, as director Edgar Wright already has his 2013-2014 slate full with The World's End and The Night Stalker. So that leaves the films we already known to be in the pipeline, which include Black Panther, Doctor Strange, The Guardians of the Galaxy, and possibly Iron Fist. Though, both upcoming titles may also be movies we've not yet heard batted about.

What do you hope the next two as-yet-unnamed Marvel superhero films will be? We're betting on a third stand-alone Hulk reboot ourselves.
