Here's what producer Michael De Luca had to say about the director in a statement.

Taylor-Johnson most recently directed 2009's Nowhere Boy, the story of John Lennon's childhood in Liverpool, where his fledgling genius found a kindred spirit in the teenage Paul McCartney. The film garnered two BAFTA nominations, including "Outstanding British Film" and "Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer." Taylor-Johnson also directed the critically acclaimed short Love You More, which was nominated for the Palme D'Or in 2008. She is currently in development on a film for Columbia Pictures based on the novel by Robert Goorlick, The Reliable Wife, which is also being produced by De Luca.

Sony Pictures recently announced release dates for The Amazing Spider-Man 3, coming in 2016, and The Amazing Spider-Man 4, coming in 2018. What they failed to mention was how this would affect the plot of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Entertainment Weekly spoke with actress Shailene Woodley about her role in the upcoming YA adaptation Divergent, where the actress revealed that her role as Mary Jane Watson has been bumped from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, with the scenes we saw being shot in New York City cut out of the film.

Mary Jane and her important role in the life of Peter Parker will be held for The Amazing Spider-Man 3. Which brings up plenty of new questions in regards to the plot of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. We've also seen photos (MAJOR SPOILER!) of Emma Stone in Gwen Stacy's icon death wardrobe. Many thought the actress wouldn't make it out of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 alive. But then, it looked as though director Marc Webb was pulling a riff on What If? #24, where Gwen lives. Set photos revealed Spider-Man swinging Stacy to safety.

Its safe to say that Emma Stone will return in The Amazing Spider-Man 3, with her death possibly coming in The Amazing Spider-Man 4. Marc Webb is definitely planning a fake out with Gwen's death in the upcoming sequel.

It is unclear if the scenes with Mary Jane Watson are being re-shot at a later date, or if the footage is being saved. You can look at the set photos and video of these scenes here.

While we have yet to see the actual monster in Legendary Entertainment's Godzilla, the studio has posted another behind-the-scenes photo that teases the enormity of this epic thriller's scope. Here we see a massive underground bunker, sealed off by huge radioactive containment doors. What could possibly lie behind this huge metal walkway is anybody's guess. We'll have to wait until May 16, 2014 to find out for sure, when director Gareth Edwards' franchise starter stomps into theaters with a loud roar.

Godzilla comes to theaters May 16th, 2014 and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe, David Strathairn, Richard T. Jones, Sally Hawkins. The film is directed by Gareth Edwards.

Now the speculation begins about who these characters are, and how they might fit into the story.

J.J. Abrams is directing from a screenplay by Michael Arndt, although no confirmed story details have been released. Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher are returning as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Princess Leia. With casting now in full swing, hopefully we learn more about these characters in a galaxy far, far, away very soon.

Star Wars: Episode VII comes to theaters in 2015 and stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Daniels. The film is directed by J.J. Abrams.

Two turkeys go on an epic time-travelling quest to change history in the first trailer for Free Birds. Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson voice the pioneering fowls Jake and Reggie, who travel back in time to ensure that turkey never becomes a part of the Thanksgiving menu. The film will be set in 1919 and will follow and Australian father that travels to Turkey to locate his two sons. The brothers went missing during the battle of Gallipoli, which was an unsuccessful attempt by the Allied Powers to control the sea route from Europe to Russia during World War I.

Russell Crowe just appeared in Zack Snyder Superman reboot Man of Steel and has considered many project for his directorial debut including Australian stories The Long Green Shore and Bra Boys.

Andrew Knight and Andrew Anastasios wrote the screenplay with Troy Lum, Andrew Mason and Keith Rodger producing. Production is scheduled to begin later this year in Australia and Turkey.

The book is comprised of 26 prose poetry essays from the iconic author and follows The prophet Almustafa. The story centers on his trip home from Orphalese, where he is stopped by a group of people and ends up discusses deep issues such as life and the human condition.

Roger Allers is co-directing with various animated helmers including Tomm Moore, Joan Gratz, Bill Plympton, Nina Paley, Joann Sfar, Paul and Gaëtan Brizzi, Michal Socha and Mohammed Saeed Harib. Salma Hayek is producing with Clark Peterson and Ron Senkowski.

No production schedule has been released.

A couple's marriage is put to the test by their nay-saying friends and family in the second trailer for I Give It a Year. Rose Byrne and Rafe Spall star as Nat and Josh, two complete opposites who are remarkably happy together, even though no one close to them thinks their marriage will last more than a year. Borat and Bruno writer Dan Mazer makes his directorial debut with this comedy, debuting on VOD and iTunes July 3 before hitting theaters on August 9.

World War Z comes to theaters June 21st, 2013 and stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, James Badge Dale, Ludi Boeken, Matthew Fox, Fana Mokoena, David Morse. The film is directed by Marc Forster.

The original cast in its entirety is in negotiations to reunite for the sequel, including Harry Connick Jr., Ashley Judd, Morgan Freeman, Kris Kristofferson, among others. Charles Martin Smith, who directed Dolphin Tale, is set to direct the sequel from his own script.

Alcon will finance and produce the film, which it will release through its output deal with Warner Bros.

Dolphin Tale 2 will tell another true story inspired by the life of Winter, but also involving a new baby dolphin named Hope who was rescued by the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in 2010.

Winter, who still resides at the Aquarium, played herself in the original film and returns in Dolphin Tale 2 and Hope will play herself in the sequel.

The story of Winter was originally brought to Alcon by the Company's president of worldwide marketing Richard Ingber, who also produced Dolphin Tale with Kosove and Johnson.

Dolphin Tale 2 comes to theaters September 29th, 2014 and stars Harry Connick Jr., Ashley Judd, Morgan Freeman, Kris Kristofferson. The film is directed by Charles Martin Smith.

Just over one week after New Line Cinema dropped the comedy sequel Dumb and Dumber To, Universal Pictures and Red Granite Pictures have come aboard to give the project a second wind. Dumb and Dumber stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are locked in to reprise their roles as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, with the stars, filmmakers, and studios working out scheduling to get production started as quickly as possible.

There is some urgency at play here, since Jeff Daniels wants to shoot before going back to work on The Newsroom, and Jim Carrey wants to start shooting before he moves on to the bank heist comedy Loomis Fargo with Owen Wilson.

Bobby Farrelly and Peter Farrelly are directing from a script by Sean Anders and John Morris, which they directors rewrote themselves. The story revolves around Lloyd and Harry trying to find one of their illegitimate children, so they can donate one of their kidneys to save the child's life. Red Granite is putting up the $35 million budget, and is selling to foreign territories, while Universal retains domestic distribution rights.

Dumb and Dumber To comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels. The film is directed by Peter Farrelly, Bobby Farrelly.

A lowly Lego man named Emmett (Chris Pratt) goes on the adventure of a lifetime in the first trailer for The Lego Movie. Here, we're introduced to a host of characters such as Will Arnett's Batman and Morgan Freeman's Vitruvius, who warns that a nefarious tyrant named President Business (Will Ferrell) plans to glue their whole world together. Ken Levine actually got his start as a screenwriter and playwright before breaking into the video game business. The remake is said to be a passion project for the writer, who will still develop video games through his Irrational Games company while working on the script.

The original Logan's Run, released in 1976, is set in a world where everyone must be willingly executed by the age of 21. Those who try to test their fate are known as "runners," and are chased down by Sandmen. Michael York starred as a Sandman named Logan 5, who becomes a runner himself when he reaches the maximum age of 30. He ventures outside of the domed city where all of humanity lives, to take his chances in a post-apocalyptic Earth.

Several filmmakers have tried to bring this remake to the big screen in recent years, such as Carl Rinsch (47 Ronin), Alex Garland (Dredd 3D), and Will Beall (Gangster Squad). Most recently, director Nicolas Winding Refn planned on reuniting with his Drive star Ryan Gosling for this project, before the actor bowed out in October.

Logan's Run is in development . The film is directed by Nicolas Winding Refn.

Director Bryan Singer released yet another photo from the X-Men: Days of Future Past set in Montreal today, which reveals a few intriguing things about the story. For one, since this is obviously taken from the White House Set, President Nixon, featured in a photo from earlier this month, seems ready to take action against the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, who were likely responsible for an attack in Paris. While it has not been confirmed, this scene could lead to the creation of the Sentinels, who hunt down every mutant on Earth. The Paris attack is likely the reason for the war protesters seen outside the French Embassy in another recent set photo. The annual Licensing Expo is currently happening in Las Vegas, where it was revealed that Jurassic Park IV is now slated for a 2015 release, and that it will be shot in 3D. Last month, Universal Pictures pulled the action sequel from its July 13, 2014 release date, to give the filmmakers and the studio "adequate time" to make the best possible movie. While Universal hasn't confirmed an exact release date, it seems likely they will aim for a summer 2015 debut.

Colin Trevorrow is directing from a screenplay by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes). No cast members have been confirmed yet, but we'll keep you posted as soon as we have more information.

If there ever was one poster that was "kind of a big deal," it would be this simplistic yet epic one-sheet for Anchorman: The Legend Continues. Much like the first poster that debuted last May, we don't see the full cast, only the glorious mustache of Will Ferrell's Ron Burgundy. In addition, Paramount Pictures has announced that the latest trailer will debut tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

With the 70's behind him, San Diego's top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Also back for more are Ron's co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) - All of whom won't make it easy to stay classy... while taking New York's first 24-hour news channel by storm.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues comes to theaters December 20th, 2013 and stars Paul Rudd, Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Christina Applegate, Luke Wilson, David Koechner, James Marsden. The film is directed by Adam McKay.

Back in January, we reported that Felicity Jones had signed on for an unspecified role in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. While promoting her upcoming indie film Breathe In, the actress was asked if she was looking forward to fans seeing her as The Black Cat, a.k.a. Felicia Hardy. While she didn't give a definitive yes, her response seems to indicate that she is playing Felicia Hardy.

We reported yesterday that Sony has given The Amazing Spider-Man 3 a 2016 release date, with The Amazing Spider-Man 4 following in 2018. It seems possible that they could be setting her up as Felicia Hardy in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, to use her as the villainous Black Cat in one of the upcoming sequels.

Felicia Hardy/Black Cat first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #194 in July 1979. Felicia is the daughter of a world-famous cat burglar, who trained herself to follow in her father's criminal footsteps.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 comes to theaters May 2nd, 2014 and stars Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Shailene Woodley, Sally Field, Dane DeHaan, Andrew Garfield, Martin Sheen, Felicity Jones. The film is directed by Marc Webb.

The story, based on James Dashner's novel, centers on a group of teenagers who are transported to a bizarre maze known as The Glade, with none of them having any memory of getting there. Ava Paige is the one responsible for bringing these teens to The Glade, as a test to find the strongest warriors in this dystopian society. Dylan O'Brien stars as Thomas, who tries to figure a way out of this massive structure. Thomas Sangster, Will Poulter, Aml Ameen, and Kaya Scodelario co-star in this thriller.

First-time filmmaker Wes Ball is directing from an adapted screenplay by Noah Oppenheim (The Secret Life of Houdini).

Patricia Clarkson most recently starred in The East, which is currently playing in theaters.

The Maze Runner comes to theaters February 14th, 2014 and stars Thomas Sangster, Will Poulter, Aml Ameen, Kaya Scodelario, Dylan O'Brien, Patricia Clarkson. The film is directed by Wes Ball.

When asked about The Falcon's background, the actor revealed that he has trained extensively to become a military leader.

He also spoke about The Falcon's integrity, and how he would do anything for his country.

When asked what he is most excited for when the Marvel Phase Two sequel hits theaters next year, he said that he can't wait to see little kids dressed up as The Falcon for Halloween.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier comes to theaters April 4th, 2014 and stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Robert Redford, Frank Grillo. The film is directed by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo.

George Lucas won the Outstanding Special Class Animated Program 2013 Daytime Emmy for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which, remarkably is only his second Emmy throughout his entire career. The creator of the Star Wars universe was quick to let everyone know that it was only his third major award, after also winning a post-retirement NAACP award for his work on Red Tails in 2012.

Access Hollywood caught up with Lucas on the red carpet, who had just been handed his award by Carrie Fisher. Talk very quickly turned to Star Wars: Episode VII, where the retiree revealed how relieved he is not to have to worry about the sequel.

He then revealed that director J.J. Abrams has been too busy to speak with him about the hugely anticipate project.

George Lucas is notorious for imposing his views on other creative artists, and getting his way when it comes to Star Wars. It sounds like J.J. Abrams might be staying away to keep his own artistic integrity on Star Wars: Episode VII in check.

The first trailer for Disney's Frozen finds the reindeer Sven (Tom Kane) and snowman Olaf (Josh Gad) engaged in a playful snow battle. Along with this look at the animated adventure, Disney has confirmed two more casting additions, with Alan Tudyk and Santino Fontana joining Josh Gad, Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff for the ensemble voice cast. Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS) has tapped a trio of talented actors to join the voice cast in Frozen. Josh Gad (The Internship, Love and Other Drugs, Broadway's "The Book of Mormon") provides the voice of Olaf the snowman; Santino Fontana (Broadway's "Cinderella," "Brighton Beach Memoirs," "Billy Elliot") lends his vocal talents as Hans; and Alan Tudyk (42, Wreck-It Ralph, ABC's Suburgatory) joins the film as the voice of the Duke of Weselton. The talented group of actors joins Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff in the epic adventure, directed by Chris Buck (Tarzan, Surf's Up) and Jennifer Lee (screenwriter, Wreck-It Ralph), and produced by Peter Del Vecho (Winnie the Pooh, The Princess and the Frog). Frozen is slated for the big screen Nov. 27, 2013, and will be presented in 3D in select theaters.

Gad brings his sense of humor and his incomparable personality to Olaf, a fun and lively snowman who joins Anna and Kristoff on their journey to save the kingdom. The film, TV and stage star is a veteran of the famed Groundlings Improv troupe and founder of The Lost Nomads Comedy Troupe. He appears alongside Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson in The Internship, and has a guest-starring role in Fox's New Girl. Upcoming roles include the biopic jOBS, in which he stars as Apple co-creator Steve Wozniak. Fontana provides the voice of Anna's handsome suitor Hans, who steps in to govern Arendelle when Anna takes off to find her sister. The actor was seen on Broadway as Prince Charming in Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella," for which he received a Tony nomination. His other Broadway credits include "The Importance of Being Earnest," "Brighton Beach Memoirs," "Billy Elliot" and "Sunday in the Park with George." Fontana also starred in 2011's off-Broadway play "Sons of the Prophet." He's received Drama Desk, Lortel, Obie and Clarence Derwent Awards. On TV, Fontana has appeared on The Good Wife, Royal Pains, A Gifted Man and Made in Jersey.

Tudyk, who gives voice to a prominent duke visiting Arendelle for a coronation ceremony, returns to the WDAS recording studio following an Annie Award-winning performance as the voice of King Candy in Wreck-It Ralph. A veteran of the big and small screens, Tudyk stars in the critically-acclaimed ABC comedy Suburgatory. He can be seen in 42 as Ben Chapman, manager of the 1947 Philadelphia Phillies and one of Jackie Robinson's most vocal antagonists. Tudyk also appears in Arrested Development. His other credits include Firefly, 28 Days, A Knight's Tale, Death at a Funeral, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Knocked Up and 3:10 to Yuma. Tudyk lent his vocal talents to a host of animated films, including three of the Ice Age films and Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked, as well as Robot Chicken and Family Guy. Unaware the hospital has been overrun by its patients, the insane are now posing as doctors. Kate Beckinsale stars as the title character, whom the young intern falls in love with. No details were given for Brendan Gleeson and David Thewlis' characters, but they join a cast that also includes Ben Kingsley and Michael Caine.

Brad Anderson is directing from a screenplay by Joe Gangemi (Wind Chill), who had written the original screenplay more than 15 years ago. The script is based on a short story by Edgar Allan Poe. Bruce Davey, Mel Gibson, Mark Amin and Cami Winikoff are producing, with David Higgins, Christa Campbell, Lati Grobman and Mark Gill executive producing. Shooting is scheduled to begin on June 24.

Eliza Graves comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Kate Beckinsale, Jim Sturgess, Ben Kingsley, Michael Caine, Brendan Gleeson, David Thewlis. The film is directed by Brad Anderson.

Justin Lin was originally brought on to direct the film back in late 2009, but left in 2011 to focus on Fast & Furious 6. After his departure, the studio hired Juan Carlos Fresnadillo to take the reigns on the project. He left in November of 2012 after not being able to match visions with the studio. They are currently searching for his replacement, leaving the Green Lantern star in limbo. This gives the producers a chance to start over and appoint a new director, who will in turn hire a new star that fits his or her vision.

The first Highlander was directed by Russell Mulcahy and starred Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery. The film lead to five sequels and a TV series. Ryan Reynolds most recently voiced a role in DreamWorks Animation's Turbo and will be seen in Robert Schwentke action comedy R.I.P.D.

Highlander comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Ryan Reynolds. The film is directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.

The film combines multiple stories from Frank Miller's books with new plot-lines written specifically for the movie. In Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Dwight is hunted by his only love Ava Lord, who watches his life go down the drain. The story is set before the five-issue comic book series The Big Fat Kill, which explains the story behind the character's face change.

The film would have been the second Robert Rodriguez film to hit the big screen this year with Machete Kills schedule to theaters in September. Frank Miller also has 300: Rise of an Empire slated to release March 7th, 2014.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For comes to theaters August 22nd, 2014 and stars Jamie Chung, Jessica Alba, Alexa Vega, Mickey Rourke, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Michael Madsen, Dennis Haysbert. The film is directed by Frank Miller, Robert Rodriguez.

Henry Thomas captured America's heart as Elliott in the 1982 classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and he hasn't stopped working since. He starred in one of my personal childhood favorites, Cloak and Dagger, and in notable films such as Valmont, Legends of the Fall, Suicide Kings, All The Pretty Horses, Gangs of New York, Dear John, and many more. The actor returns to play music icon Hank Williams in The Last Ride, currently available on Blu-ray and DVD. Set just days before the country singer passed away, this drama is based on the true story of a young man (Jesse James) hired to drive Hank to a series of concerts over the New Year's Eve holiday, and the bond that formed between these very different men. I recently had the chance to speak with Henry Thomas over the phone about The Last Ride. Here's what he had to say.

I recently got to see this, and I wasn't too familiar with Hank Williams story, but it was quite an intriguing story. This is based on an actual story, but can you talk about what kind of fictional elements that were added into this story? Was there a balance there?

Henry Thomas: Thank you, first of all. Most of the dialogue was pretty fictional. You can find the true account of the trip, as told by the real chauffeur, a guy named Charles Carr, from Montgomery, Alabama. He was the real Silas, and there are several conspiracies about what happened on that journey, based on his account.

When you play someone as iconic as Hank, how much research goes into the mannerisms, the way he talks, and the way he moves, especially with his condition. Was there a lot you went into, after you got this role?

Henry Thomas: Yes, there was a lot of research on my part. The frustrating thing, for me, was, because of the nature of the project, and the fact that we didn't have very much money, I was doing other jobs in between, before we were getting to the production phase. I felt a little bit like I didn't have enough time to put into it, because it felt like such a big character to play, and such a responsibility. I started to get a little obsessed with getting it right, and worried that I didn't look exactly like him, and that I was going to mess everything up. I didn't have enough time to lose enough weight, all of these things. I think, ultimately, what happened was, I just started concentrating on the things I could control, and that was creating a character based on what I knew of Hank Williams, and really trying to tell the story, more than anything. Hopefully the audience will believe in the illusion a bit, and part of that was watching how he moved and his performances on stage. Concentrating on the physical things helped me. Also, I'm a guitar player and I sing as well, and even though I don't perform in the film, a lot of me discovering who he was, was actually going through his songs in my trailer, before I would go on set.

This is very much a story of that time period too. I always kept thinking that if someone as big as Hank Williams was just walking around like that today, he'd be mobbed by the public. You do see instances where he's recognized, but I thought it was interesting that it was a portrait at that time, where people weren't as obsessed with singers and celebrities as they are now. I thought it was an intriguing aspect that he can sit down with those guys in West Virginia and hang out and talk about life.

Henry Thomas: Sure. The director, Harry Thomason, he was always saying that not a lot of people, especially on the backroads, had TV's at the time. Not everybody would have known what Hank Williams would have looked like. They'd know what he sounded like, or maybe they'd see a picture in the paper or something, but that'd be it. He wouldn't be over-exposed like now (Laughs).

Can you talk about working with Harry Thomason and how he wanted to shape this story?

Henry Thomas: This kind of gestated for a long time, and Harry has been a part of it for most of it's life. I think he had to struggle with a lot of budgetary restraints, but he stuck with it and got it done. It was a hell of a work load, but I really think, considering what we had and how we had to shoot this, we got some amazing stuff out of it.

I loved the chemistry between you and Jesse. It was such an interesting arc, how contentious it was at first and how the ice began to break. It was really cool to see how that relationship evolved. I know a lot of times, when actors play contentious characters like that, they're separated on the set. Did you have that at all on this project?

Henry Thomas: We did the opposite. Jesse and I got together all the time, and we would rehearse things off the set, because we didn't have a lot of time to rehearse when we were on set, and we'd have dinner together and talk about the day. We actually became really good friends, and I talk to him now all the time. We acted all that (Laughs). It was good that, for a young actor, I mean, Jesse wasn't even 21 at the time we were shooting, he had a really good work ethic and he was really all about getting the best performances we could out of each moment we had. I was really glad for that. That was a big issue in our minds, when we were going into it.

Is there anything you can say about Big Sur? There is just a fantastic cast in that. What can you say about your character, and have you heard anything about release plans?

Henry Thomas: Well, I still haven't seen the film, but it's kind of funny because this character I play, I don't really have that much dialogue, and nobody in the film has much dialogue, because it's mostly voice-over of Jean-Marc Barr doing Jack Kerouac, which is often-times lifted straight out of the novel. I really don't have any idea of how much I'm in the film, or anything. It's really weird, because it was kind of a surreal film, but I'll tell you the guy I'm supposed to be, if you don't see me in the movie. I play, basically, one of the contemporaries of Jack Kerouac, who is essentially responsible for bringing Zen Buddhism to the West Coast. He was a poet and a bit of an artist, but he was mainly famous as the guy that introduced San Francisco to Zen Buddhism, and founded one of the Buddhist temples there.

Is there anything you're working on this summer you can talk about?

Henry Thomas: I did a pilot for ABC called Betrayal, and that got picked up, so I'm officially going to be on everybody's TV, if they're tuned to ABC on Sunday's at some unspecified time. They can watch me every week, which is a first for me, but we'll see how it plays out. I'm starting up in mid-July in Chicago for the next nine months or so. I play a character who's the son of a very rich and powerful man, but he suffered an accident and he has brain damage. He's high-functioning, but mentally deficient, a little slower on the uptake. It's kind of an interesting character.

What would you like to say to any fans of Hank Williams or fans or anyone who's curious about The Last Ride, about why they should pick it up on Blu-ray and DVD?

Henry Thomas: I'm really happy that people are now able to find it. Everyone I mentioned it to, I was always met with the same reaction of, 'When can I see that?' I got a little sick of saying, 'I don't know if you'll ever get to see it,' so I'm just really happy that it's out there, and people can find it. Check it out.

While most college students don't have a 21st birthday celebration quite like the guys in 21 & Over, actress Sarah Wright had a much different experience, at a much younger age. When I rececntly spoke to the talented actress over the phone, to promote the Blu-ray and DVD release debuting on June 18th, we spoke about her crazy 17th birthday in Japan, playing such a wide variety of ages at this stage in her career, her unusual Idaho audition tape for this role, and much more. Take a look at our exclusive conversation below.

This might be a bit too obvious to start with, but is there anything that specifically stands out about your own 21st birthday experience? I read that you started modeling rather early, so I was curious if you had the typical collegiate 21st experience?

Sarah Wright: (Laughs) I did not. I kind of started younger, to be honest. I was travelling in Japan when I was like 16, and I remember... oh man, this is probably not a good thing to say, but, I was in Japan, in a place called the Lexington Queen, and it was my 17th birthday. This is so cheesy, but I remember "Dancing Queen" came on, and I was 17, and I was totally partying at like 3 o'clock in the morning, taking the train back at like 6 AM. I was like, 'This is the life.' I was a little young to start out like that, but that's what happened. By the time I turned 21, I was like, 'Oh, please.' I'll just go to dinner and have a glass of wine. I'm good (Laughs).

That's hilarious. I actually remember talking to your husband Eric Christian Olsen on the set of Fired Up. He was talking about when you're an actor in your mid-20s, how you can play between a high school kid and someone in their mid-20s. Since you play a college student in this one, is that kind of refreshing to be able to play that kind of age range?

Sarah Wright: Yeah, it's awesome. When I was shooting the movie, they called me to come and shoot a couple of days on Parks and Recreation. I think it was the Halloween episode. I thought it was crazy, because I'm playing Rob Lowe's girlfriend next week, but this week I'm 21 years old. Yeah, it was great, and I love doing that. When I started in this business, I was turning 20, and I was playing 15 on TV, on the show, so I'm always playing younger, and I'd love to continue playing younger for as long as I possibly can. I think, especially in comedy, it works that way where you're older but you play younger. It's fun. I played a college sorority girl in The House Bunny, and that was five or six years ago.

Is there anything in particular you look for when you pick up a script, and what really sparked your interest when you picked up 21 & Over?

Sarah Wright: I first thought, 'I'm too old for this' (Laughs). I thought they didn't want me to do this movie, but my agent said they did and I should check it out. I read it and it's funny, there are just certain things that drew me in. I love great banter and great funny writing, as anybody who's reading a script does, but with (writer-directors) Jon (Lucas) and Scott (Moore), the story was so good and so funny. Honestly, in a lot of movies like this, the girl character becomes really small and there's not a lot going on with her. She's just sort of there. I kind of felt like this was different. There was more going on with her, she was kind of biting. There was something more to this character, and something more to her story. That's what really drew me to do this part.

At that point, were Miles Teller, Skylar Astin, and Justin Chon attached, when you first heard about this?

Sarah Wright: They had just officially cast all three of them, when I auditioned for it. I was actually in Idaho. We have a barn, just outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and I was just there for the summer, to hang out. They asked me to put myself on tape for it, so my husband put me on tape, and he and I were just improving on the tape and just playing around with the material. I was being filmed with the barn doors behind me, and when they asked me to come back to L.A. and read with Skylar for a chemistry read, the first thing they said was, 'Where were you when you shot that tape? It looks like you were in a barn.' Yeah, I was in a barn. The guys were cast, and I read with Skylar a couple of times, then I got the part.

How much improvisation did they allow you to do on the set? This is Jon and Scott directorial debut, but were they really open to a lot of improv on the set?

Sarah Wright: They were awesome about it. In the audition, one of the first thing they were saying was, 'The writing sucks, so do whatever you want with it.' What? It was so funny! They were super open to improv, they encouraged it, and it's what I think made the movie feel, in my opinion, more natural. Miles (Teller) is always saying all this crazy stuff. We would do a take on the page, then we'd do a take off the page, and where we wanted to take it. They would give us ideas here and there. The whole experience was such a great learning experience for me, and it was awesome. I just shot a thing for their pilot that just got picked up, Jon and Scott. They did the same thing on that set, and let everybody improv. It's a great way to work.

I actually met those guys on the set of The Change-Up. They're hilarious.

Sarah Wright: They're so fun! Jon is hilarious, and he always has these things he's writing down when you're doing a scene, then he'll give you these ideas. Scott is so funny and so smart, and I love that they do stuff together.

With guys like that who have worked together for so long, does it feel like two people are directing the movie, or just one cohesive unit?

Sarah Wright: No, it feels like one cohesive unit. Sometimes you meet a director, and you're not sure, but even in the audition room, they were just such a good team. Jon has the things that he does and that he sees, and Scott has his own thing. One of them will come out and talk to be about certain specific things, and the other one would have other ideas. They bring so much more to the table, and I thought it was fantastic that they can work that well together.

You have Walk of Shame coming up, which looks rather hilarioius. Can you talk a bit about your character in that, or anything else you have coming up?

Sarah Wright: Yeah, well, first of all, I'm seven months pregnant, so I shot that movie when I was in my second month, third month, and maybe into my fourth month of being pregnant, so it was kind of crazy. At the beginning, I thought it would be totally fine, but by the end of it, I had to wear this super-tight yellow dress, and I was definitely showing a little bit. But no, the character is really fun, she's very dry and a little aggressive. It's a fun, far-out there character. I usually play those characters on TV, so it was great to do that in the movie. I play Elizabeth Banks and Gillian Jacobs' best friend in the movie, and we're just sort of trying to track her down throughout the film. James Marsden was awesome to work with. I have a great scene with him that I cannot wait to see, where I'm just attacking him. It will be really fun.

Back in February, actress Noomi Rapace revealed that the sequel was moving forward with an unidentified scribe, following a report from December that Prometheus writer Damon Lindelof will not be involved with the follow-up to 2012's Prometheus.

Jack Paglen is rumored to have been involved for a number of weeks, and now director Ridley Scott has signed off on his take. Naturally, no story details have been revealed at this time.

Prometheus stars Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender are believed to be returning, though no official casting has been confirmed. No production schedule has been announced for Prometheus 2.

Prometheus earned over $403 million worldwide from a $130 million budget during its theatrical run last summer.

The second trailer for Kick-Ass 2 is nearly identical to the first trailer released back in April, but there are a few additional scenes thrown in. Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloe Moretz are back as Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl, who team up with Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey) to form the superhero group Justice Forever. They face a mounting threat in The Mother-F---er (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), who has assembled an evil army to avenge the death of his father. Directed by Jeff Wadlow, this action sequel hits theaters nationwide August 16.

Acquired by The Weinstein Company earlier this year, director Justin Chadwick's Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom may be an Oscar contender when it hits theaters in limited release on November 29. The studio has released a new poster featuring Idris Elba as Nelson Mandela in this biopic, which follows his entire life from childhood, to being imprisoned for over 27 years, to being elected the South African president. The legend of a haunted mine is put to the test in the first trailer for Abandoned Mine.
