Guillermo del Toro is attached to this hour long drama as a producer, and its been given a bump of enthusiasm by the Hulk's appearance in this summer's billion dollar movie Marvel's The Avengers.

This is what ABC president Paul Lee said while announcing the rest of ABC's impending slate.

About other Marvel properties coming to ABC via the small screen, Lee had this to say.

Its too early to tell what this means for a third Hulk stand-alone film, and its highly unlikely that Mark Ruffalo will star in this small screen adaptation. ABC is owned by Walt Disney, the company behind Marvel Studios. A TV series based on The Punisher is also said to be in the works for ABC TV.

Last month, we reported that the live-action web series Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn will debut this fall on Machinima.com, leading up to the release of Microsoft's highly-anticipated video game Halo 4. Today, we have three photos from the Vancouver set, which show the protagonist Master Chief standing tall with a blazing fire behind him. Check it out.

The web series will be split into five 15-minute episodes, which tells the story of Master Chief and his relationship with a young UNSC cadet, who becomes the leader of the UNSC Infinity spacecraft. The series will tie directly into the video game's story line. Halo 4 will be available November 6 for the XBox 360 gaming console, although it isn't known when the Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn series will debut.

Set to debut on June 10th, Turn! Turn! Turn! will kick off Season 5 of True Blood in style. To celebrate this impending blood bath, HBO has released 12 character posters, featuring all of your favorite Bon Temps power players.

This is definitely not the case, but Warner Archive is doing its best to fill in the gaps, releasing a slew of previously unreleased titles every week. The 1966 series Tarzan was one such series until recently, when Warner Archive released Tarzan: Season One Part One and Tarzan: Season One Part Two on DVD. The show starred Ron Ely as the title character, a.k.a. Lord Greystoke, and took a much different approach to the jungle dweller, first created by Edgar Rice Burroughs.

I had a chance to speak with the actor over the phone about his role in the series, which ran from 1966 to 1969. Here's what he had to say.

I read that before the series came together, you were set to play a Tarzan impersonator on another show. I was curious how long the gap was between that series that didn't come together and Tarzan?

Ron Ely: Actually, it wasn't a Tarzan impersonator. I don't know where these ideas come from, I've heard it before. They had talked to me about doing the Tarzan movie, a couple of years before. I wasn't interested, my agents weren't interested in my behalf. They said, 'We're going to avoid this, because this will be you forever. This will end your career as an actor.' So we avoided it. Then when the series came together with NBC, it had a different feeling. It was a different entity, so when that came to me, that had more interest. The more I found out about it, and the way they wanted to do it, it became very interesting, and I completely forgot about the business of being stamped with that character, and having that impact on a career. I certainly was not wrong. It did have that impact.

This version seems to be the closest to the book than the previous versions. Was that one of the things that drew you to it, to bring this kind of gravitas to the character?

Ron Ely: I did, absolutely. Everyone involved in it was very serious about doing it, and doing it really well, and doing it with the utmost quality possible. That was everybody, every single person I talked to in advance of doing the show, imparted that to me. They were in it, 100%, to do it the best way they possibly could. It's hard to walk away from something like that.

I also read that you refused to have a stuntman for the fight scenes and the vine-swinging scenes. Were there any really serious injuries that forced the production to shut down at all?

Ron Ely: Well, actually (laughs), there are a bunch of questions in there. The business about me doing all of the stunts on the show, which I did do, was not a key aspect of my doing the character. It evolved. It just happened. As I have said to others, the design of it wasn't ego, it was simply to keep it as seamless as possible, so the audience was never rocked out of that new reality I had, saying, 'Oh, that's not him. There's somebody else doing that.' There were so many things that I was somewhat proficient at doing, that I could do them, maybe better than the average guy, but not at an expert level. I've often said that I'm a good swimmer, but I'm not an Olympic champion swimmer, like Johnny Weissmuller. When people said, 'Well, what were your qualifications for doing it,' I was just a decent athlete, and I was willing. Yeah, I had a high fall. The initial report was that killed me, that I was dead. I went head first into the ground from a very high position, and busted my shoulder, my wrist, and I had a concussion, but it didn't kill me, I'm happy to report.

That's good to hear. This only ran for two seasons, but this was back when seasons ran much longer. I believe the first season was 33 episodes, and the second season was 26 episodes. Can you talk a bit about the production schedule, and how grueling that was? Were you shooting basically the whole year?

Ron Ely: Yeah, Brian, it was a very grueling schedule. The ordinary hour-long show, at that time, shot each episode in six days. The first episode we shot in Brazil, I think it was 32 days. We had been in Brazil for six months, and I think we completed five or six shows, so we had to move. We moved to Mexico, which had a more sophisticated film industry, or, I should say, that was more in sync with the American film industry, at that point. We were able to cut that time down by about half. It took about three years to get all of the shows actually shot and done.

Wow. That's amazing. There were also a number of notable guest stars on the show, like Nichelle Nichols and Russ Tamblyn. I was wondering if you had a favorite guest star who came on and was really memorable for you?

Ron Ely: Well, I did have some because they were close friends of mine, like Jock Mahoney and Woody Strode. I would always look forward to any kind of a part that they could do, because I always wanted them there. They were great supporters. In terms of the people I didn't know who came on to work the show, there were some like Ethel Merman that were really a hoot. They were really fun and glorious people to know and to spend time with. People Neville Brand, people who had these strong characters that they had done for years. They bring a persona with them, and they don't bend from that persona much to facilitate a character. Their persona is bigger than the character they're going to play, and they use it. I enjoyed that. That was great fun. It livened up things for me, every time a new guest star would come in like Julie Harris or Maurice Evans, a New York stage actor. You couldn't imagine a setting more out of place for Maurice Evans. He was perfect, and he enjoyed it. He talked to me a lot about doing Tarzan on the stage. He could see that as viable, and something that would be attractive. As I look at it now, I'd like to see that done. I'd like to see someone do that, because it could work.

I read that you're actually writing crime novels now. Do you have any coming up, or are you setting any of these up for movie or TV adaptations?

Ron Ely: Not at this time. I have other books to publish, but I'm sort of in a holding pattern now, trying to get my son finished with college and done with that. Then I'll devote more time to myself and my various careers. Right now, I'm just slowly coming to the end of a long period of colleges and school sports, when I really stepped out of the business just to be with my family. I've been away from the film business for an extended period of time, and in that period of time, I started writing.

To wrap up, what would you like to say to anyone who is curious about the show, who have never seen it before, about why they should pick up this great new DVD set from Warner Archive?

Ron Ely: I would simply say that again, 'great' and 'new.' For years, people have been after me, contacting me... first it was the VHS copies of the Tarzan show, and then the DVD. Now, after all this time, Warner Archive has remastered the entire series in HD, and it is brilliant. It is really sharp, and it is really nice to say. If you've ever had an inclination to own the show, go get it, because it's sitting right there, and it's beautiful.

Produced by Microsoft, the company behind the Halo franchise, this will be the "largest" live action investment ever put towards the game after many failed attempts to bring the property to the big screen.

Xbox, the division behind the web series, is keeping a tight lid on the storyline, the director, and the cast at this point. All will be revealed this July at Comic-Con 2012.

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn will be made up of five fifteen minute shorts, each telling an original story about the game's Master Chief and how he inspired a young UNSC cadet who will eventually become a leader aboard the UNSC Infinity spacecraft. The introduction of this new cadet character ties directly into the plot of the new Halo 4 video game itself.

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn is meant to be an origin story that will hopefully bring non-gamers into this world. This is being considered the next step in the franchise, and could lead to an actual live action theatrical feature film.

Both series, which have been a hit with critics and audiences alike, have been given a second season commitment of ten episodes each. These episodes will debut spring of 2013.

Girls, which returns with the all-new Episode 1.04: Hanna's Diary on May 5th, follows friends Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna as they try to figure life out. They've been living in New York for a couple of years, but they're still not sure what they want: From boys, from each other, from themselves. And things aren't getting any clearer. Created by and starring Lena Dunham (Tiny Furniture), Girls takes a comic look at the assorted humiliations and rare triumphs of a group of girls in their early 20s.

In Anger Management, Charlie Sheen stars as "Charlie," a non-traditional therapist specializing in anger management. He has a successful private practice, holding sessions with his group of primary patients each week, as well as performing pro bono counseling for an inmate group at a state prison.

Prior to his career as a therapist, Charlie was a stalled minor league baseball prospect whose road to the majors was sidetracked by his own struggle with anger issues. After a stint in anger management therapy, he made it to the majors and had one terrific season before his anger issues put him on the shelf for good. In the final game of his career, he tried to snap a bat over his leg, which resulted in a career-ending injury. That injury led him back to school and to his current profession. Charlie thrives on the chaos in his life while still battling his own anger issues. His life is complicated by his relationships with his own therapist/best friend, an ex-wife whose positive outlook but poor choice in men frustrates Charlie, and their 13-year-old daughter who has obsessive-compulsive disorder.

She will play Shelly the Nymphomaniac, who is said to be the mortal enemy of Jessica Lange's Constance Langdon. The writers and producers crafted the role with her in mind. The season will be set in an East Coast institute for the criminally insane, which is run by Constance.

We reported last month that The Voice judge Adam Levine will make his scripted TV debut on the FX series this year. Jessica Lange, who took home an Emmy last year for her portrayal of Constance, will headline a cast which includes Season 1 actors such as Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, and Zachary Quinto. However, they will all be playing different characters this time.

Production is scheduled to start this summer. FX hasn't announced when Season 2 will premiere, although it will likely debut sometime in October.

True Blood episode 5.1, "Turn! Turn! Turn!" airs on HBO June 10th, 2012.

We first reported on this proposed TV reboot back in March 2009, a few months before the first Star Trek was released in theaters. Even if this does come to fruition, it will still be a few more years before we see a new Star Trek on the small screen.

I often find myself transfixed on the minutiae of such a complex world such as Westeros in Game of Thrones. For instance, they have established that sending out ravens with messages is basically the only way one can communicate between other villages in Westeros, so one would assume that rumors are spread via ravens as well. I found myself wondering just exactly how an interesting piece of information made its way inside the Lannister camp when Episode 2.04: Garden of Bones opens, since I assumed that it was a secret.

The episode starts out innocuous enough, with two men standing watch outside the Lannister camp. I was kind of surprised when one man made a crack about Loras Tyrell (Finn Jones) "stabbing Renly Baratheon (Gethin Anthony) for years, and he ain't dead yet." Since Renly was surprised his wife knew this secret, one must wonder how he would react if that news became widespread. At any rate, when two dudes are outside on watch in the middle of the night, it's not a set-up for something good to happen, ever. When one of the men hears something, he ends up finding the vicious wolf of Robb Stark (Richard Madden), as we see the King of the North leading his army to an easy victory.

After the battle, we see Robb become rather smitten by Jeyne Westerling (Oona Chaplin), although it seems to be unrequited. This is a side we have never really seen from Robb Stark, but there was one amazing piece of information that came out of this exchange. Robb admitted to Jeyne that he only wants to overthrow King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson)... but he has no plans to sit on the Iron Throne himself. What the shit? I guess it makes sense, since one of his demands a few episodes back, was to make Winterfell its own sovereign nation... but why overthrow the king when you have no desire to actually replace him?

I know Peter Dinklage won an Emmy last year for his portrayal of Tyrion, but can we just give him ALL the Emmy's this year? The man continually finds new ways to impress me each week, injecting a perfect dose of wry wit into each episode. Every week, Tyrion seems to make even bolder decisions than the previous one, and Episode 2.04: Garden of Bones is no different. We see him use Lord Baelish (Aidan Gillen) to help broker a deal that would likely make the king and queen very happy and unhappy at the same time, and he even turns on his own cousin, Lancel Lannister (Eugene Simon), blackmailing him into being the Imp's own personal spy. This man is a mad genius, but we see that one of his ploys doesn't exactly go as planned (or maybe it does and we just don't know it yet).

There is an exchange between Tyrion and Bronn (Jerome Flynn) where they contemplate whether or not the King just needs to get laid, since that might cure him of being such an impetuous little prick. Joffrey finds The Hound (Rory McCann) outside his chambers, revealing that Uncle Tyrion has given him a belated name day present: two whores. What follows is a very intriguing exchange that proves Joffrey is only turned on by power, and making people do exactly what he says.

We finally revisit the lovely Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), who finally receives a bit of good news. One of her riders returns with word that the city of Qarth will receive her and the khalasar. It is there when we meet Xaro Xhoan Daxos (Nonso Anozie) who ostensibly vouches for this "mother of dragons" and granting her party passage into Qarth. Now that they have finally made their way out of the Red Waste, I hope we see more of Daenerys, Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) and the rest of this clan for the rest of the season. Honestly, though, I'm more interested in seeing how fast these dragons grow, and how long before the rest of Westeros learns for a fact that not all of the dragons are dead.

And what would a Game of Thrones episode be without another bombshell dropped at the end. This one is quite a doozy, though, as it involves Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) and sorceress Melisandre (Carice van Houten). Stannis asks his trusted right-hand man Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) to return to his smuggling days, asking him to "smuggle" out Melisandre under the cover of darkness. Let's just say that the Stannis Baratheon and his army has its own new secret weapon now, and this War of the Five Kings is seriously heating up in enormously compelling ways.

Game of Thrones episode 2.4, "Garden of Bones" stars Emilia Clarke, Aidan Gillen, Iain Glen, Liam Cunningham, Richard Madden, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Jack Gleeson and is directed by David Petrarca.

The show will focus on the relationship between Hannibal Lecter and FBI agent Will Graham (Hugh Dancy). Bryan Fuller also said that, since the story takes place before his eventual incarceration, the cannibalistic serial killer is seen in a much better mood.

The series creator also likened this series to a love story between Lecter and Graham, as we will discover how similar both characters really are.

We reported last month that David Slade will direct the pilot episode. It isn't known when production will start on the pilot, or when NBC may debut the series.

The Walking Dead will return to AMC with Season 3 sometime this fall, most likely during the network's annual FearFest programming in October.

Dick Clark built an empire that spanned through music and television, starting with the show that bridged both mediums, American Bandstand. The show was one of the longest-running TV programs ever, running from 1957 to 1987, which served as a launching pad for many music stars such as Buddy Holly and Madonna. In 1974, he created the American Music Awards for ABC, after the network lost the rights to The Grammy Awards.

His Dick Clark Productions company also launched a slew of successful game shows in the 1970s and 1980s like TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes and The $10,000 Pyramid. He was also a mainstay on New Year's Eve, hosting Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, until suffering a stroke in 2004. Ryan Seacrest took over as the primary host after the stroke.

Dick Clark was born Richard Wagstaff Clark on November 30, 1929 in Mount Vernon, New York. He began his career in a Utica, New York radio station mail room in 1945, and graduated with a broadcasting degree from Syracuse University. He is survived by two sons, Richard Augustus II and Duane, and a daughter, Cindy.

We haven't heard anything definitively on the status of NBC's comedy series 30 Rock, although most believe it will return for Season 7.

Earlier today, series star Alec Baldwin revealed the show will return, and the seventh season will also be its last. The actor made the revelation at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. He also made a cryptic statement on his Twitter account last week. Take a look at his tweet along with an excerpt from a recent news article about his appearance in the nation's capital.

There was previously speculation that the actor, who plays NBC executive Jack Donaghy on the series, would leave after this season. We probably won't know anything definitive on the status of this series until May, when NBC will unveil its fall 2012-2013 lineup at the network's upfront presentation.

True Blood episode 5.1, "Turn! Turn! Turn!" airs on HBO June 10th, 2012.

With most shows, the writers must pose questions like, 'What should *main character* do next?' With a show like Game of Thrones, the writers must ask, 'Who do we include next?' The series, which airs Episode 2.03: What Is Dead May Never Die Sunday, April 15 at 9 PM ET on HBO, has such an immense, sprawling cast, that main players are often absent in particular episodes, and this week is no different. We haven't seen King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) since the Season 2 premiere, and he doesn't show up this week either, although his minions and methods are put on display once more. After two weeks of minimal involvement, there is no sign of Daenerys Targeryan (Emilia Clarke) in Sunday night's episode, but, thankfully, there is plenty of Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) to fill those voids.

(Be warned, spoilers from Episode 2.02: The Night Falls are contained within, so read at your own risk if you haven't watched it yet). Episode 2.03: What Is Dead May Never Die starts out shortly after the final events in Episode 2.02: The Night Falls, with Craster (Robert Pugh) telling Jeor Mormont (James Cosmo) that he wants his Night's Watch cronies out of his abode, after catching Jon Snow (Kit Harington) spying on him. Despite being warned several times, Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) gives a gift to Gilly (Hannah Murray), and says he'll be back for her. Say huh? The "coward" who can barely fight plans on going back to rescue the wife/daughter of a crazed wildling? Intriguing.

So far this season, we have seen Tyrion gleefully and cunningly wield his power as Hand of the King, to avoid meeting the same fate as Sansa's late father, Ned Stark. Tyrion is constantly testing those closest advisers around him, seeing who can truly be trusted, and he hatches the most ingenious plan in this episode. He tells three men, the aging Pycelle (Julian Glover), the ambitious Petyr Baelish (Aidan Gillen), and the cunning Lord Varys (Conleth Hill) that he plans to form a new alliance by marrying Mycella off when she comes of age. However, he tells each man that she will be married to a different person each time, with explicit instructions that the Cersei musn't know of his plans, seeing which of these trusted advisers and small council members will betray his confidence. As I said in last week's review, Tyrion seems to be the one most worthy of sitting on the Iron Throne, with his intelligence that seems far ahead of anyone in all the Seven Kingdoms, and, most importantly, his deceptive nature and willingness to make the hard decisions. Tyrion's 'latest deception," as Baelish puts it, is carried out with brilliant precision, and yields some surprising results.

While we don't see Stannis Baratheon and his contingency, we do meet a brand new character in Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie), in a way we don't see most ladies on this show... in hand-to-hand combat. While we can't see who she is right away under that suit of armor, she handily defeats Ser Lorras (Finn Jones) a.k.a. The Knight of Flowers in front of Renly Baratheon (Gethin Anthony) and his lady, Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer). When Brienne asks to be a part of Renly's Kings Guard, he agrees, which causes some turmoil for Renly's secret life as Lorras' homosexual lover, which we saw in the first season, and now discover that it isn't quite a secret anymore.

We also get to see an interesting side of Cersei, after she confronts Tyrion about his plan to marry off her daughter, Mycella (which is where we learn who deceived The Imp). There is a fascinating line delivered by Lena Headey's Cersei, who refuses to have her daughter shipped off in the same way she was "sent" to Robert Baratheon. While Cersei remains unflappable 99 percent of the time, her dear brother clearly knows what buttons to push. One has to wonder if this Hand of the King will end up as the proverbial man behind the Iron Throne, manipulating his way all the way up to controlling young Joffrey. It certainly seems possible after the events in this stunning episode.

The episode ends in a rather shocking fashion on the Kings Road, with the castaways Ayra (Maisie Williams) and Gendry (Joseph Dempsie) in danger when the king's men return with an army, determined to find the Gendry. Let's just say they do... and don't find Gendry, in an ingenious turn of events.

In Anger Management, Charlie Sheen stars as "Charlie," a non-traditional therapist specializing in anger management. Selma Blair, Shawnee Smith, Daniela Bobadilla, Michael Arden, and Noureen DeWulf co-star. He has a successful private practice, holding sessions with his group of primary patients each week, as well as performing pro bono counseling for an inmate group at a state prison.

Prior to his career as a therapist, Charlie was a stalled minor league baseball prospect whose road to the majors was sidetracked by his own struggle with anger issues. After a stint in anger management therapy, he made it to the majors and had one terrific season before his anger issues put him on the shelf for good. In the final game of his career, he tried to snap a bat over his leg, which resulted in a career-ending injury. That injury led him back to school and to his current profession. Charlie thrives on the chaos in his life while still battling his own anger issues. His life is complicated by his relationships with his own therapist/best friend, an ex-wife whose positive outlook but poor choice in men frustrates Charlie, and their 13-year-old daughter who has obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Anger Management debuts June 28th with two back-to-back episodes starting at 9:00 pm EST.

According to Kirkman, "Working with AMC has been a tremendously positive experience and I'm looking forward to continuing and strengthening our relationships there and I can't neglect to mention I've been dying to work with Chic again since we wrapped on The Walking Dead Season 1."

Circle of Confusion partner Alpert adds, "It's incredibly exciting to put the band back together with Robert, Chic and AMC; it just feels great."

Kirkman developed Thief of Thieves based upon his experience in the writer's room of The Walking Dead after observing how the ideas got more creative and thrilling when a group of talented writers were working together to make the show as interesting as possible. The first arc of the comic is being written by Nick Spencer and Shawn Martinbrough is the artist. Kirkman created the story and has a "head writer" in charge of each arc of Thief of Thieves. The story focuses on master thief Conrad Paulson who, while attempting to reconcile with his estranged wife and son, vows to walk the straight and narrow, only to discover he's completely addicted to the thrill of stealing. Now he must feed his addiction by stealing only what has been stolen, as the Thief of Thieves.

The 8-part series follows two detectives, Rust Cohle (Matthew McConaughey) and Martin Hart (Woody Harrelson), whose lives collide and entwine during a seventeen-year hunt for a serial killer in Louisiana. The investigation of a bizarre murder in 1995 is framed and interlaced with testimony from the detectives in 2012, when the case has been reopened. The idea for the first 8-episodes is to resolve the immediate mystery, with future seasons using the same structure, but with new characters and storylines.

Cary Fukunaga is directing the series with Anonymous' Richard Brown, Steve Golin and Bard Dorros producing.

This project is still in development.

Lauren Cohan plays Maggie, the fierce daughter of former farm owner Hershel, who serves as a love interest for fan favorite Glenn, played by Steven Yeun. The actress will have a larger presence in the upcoming episodes, replacing some of the fallen survivors, including Shane and Dale, who did not make it off the farm last season.

In the comic book upon which the series is based, Maggie proves herself to be a strong leader, and a faithful partner to Glenn.

Season 3 will consist of 16 episodes split into two separate runs of 8 episodes apiece, which find our lost group taking refuge in an old prison.

George R.R. Martin's book A Storm of Swords, the third in his "Song of Ice and Fire" series and considered the best of the bunch by most fans, will be split into two halves, with the first half serving as the basis of Game of Thrones Season 3, and the second half serving as the basis for a forth season, if the show makes it that far.

This particular book contains many twists and turns throughout its action-packed 1,216 pages. Producers felt there was no way to fit it all into one season. Executive producer David Benioff had this to say in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly.

In the two-part season finale of Raising Hope beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, April 10 (9:31-10:00 PM ET/PT), and concluding on Tuesday, April 17 (9:31-10:00 PM ET/PT), Nancy Grace guest-stars as the host of the newsmagazine series "Inside Probe," which turns its focus on the Chance's history, culminating in the family going on trial to fight for custody of baby Hope. Created by Emmy Award winner Gregory Thomas Garcia, the series follows the Chance family as the unplanned addition to their family becomes a toddler. The show stars Lucas Neff, Emmy Award nominee Martha Plimpton, Garret Dillahunt, Shannon Woodward and Cloris Leachman. Now in its third season, Glee continues to be a Top 10 comedy among Adults 18-49 and the No. 1 scripted series among Teens. The hit series returns this spring answering the dramatic cliffhangers of Quinn's (Dianna Agron) car accident, Finn (Cory Monteith) and Rachel's (Lea Michele) wedding and Sue's (Jane Lynch) pregnancy, as graduation at McKinley High approaches. In the Spring Premiere Big Brother episode airing tomorrow, Tuesday, April 10 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), Blaine's (Darren Criss) big-shot Hollywood actor brother Cooper (guest star Matthew Bomer) comes to visit.
